Poppy Jamie reveals she's seven months pregnant with her first child after a 'multi-year fertility journey' and two 'incomprehensible' late miscarriages

TV and Instagram star Poppy Jamie has revealed she is seven months pregnant, a year after experiencing two ‘incomprehensible’ late miscarriages.

Wellness guru Poppy, 36, shared the happy news on Instagram as she revealed she had ‘finally’ arrived in her third trimester.

Poppy cradled her bump in a photo and told her followers: ‘I have been on a multi-year fertility journey and have unfortunately lost two pregnancies after five months. So here we are, third time lucky!!”

“It was a difficult ride to say the least. But in tragedy, magic and hope have emerged in the most incredible ways.”

She went on to explain that writing her book The Book of Magical Living helped her heal and allowed her to “dive deeper into historical magical wisdom, magical people, and the practice of magical rituals.” The void was filled with optimism…it was almost unbelievable at times.”

“For anyone going through their own fertility journey or feeling like life has snuffed out their spark for whatever reason, I hope the book rekindles your hope the way it did mine,” she added.

Poppy ended her message by thanking “all the wonderful medical staff who helped me get to this point in the journey. You are magical too!! Sending lots of love to everyone this post relates to. I hope my story can help anyone who has experienced something similar.”

The post was met with an outpouring of love from her celeb friends, with Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, who recently welcomed her first child, writing: ‘Beautiful news Poppy ✨ so happy for you xx.

Poppy’s best friend Suki Waterhouse simply wrote ‘Popsss’ alongside a star and heart emoji.

In an accompanying piece on Substack, she explained that she “kept much of this pregnancy private because it took a while to fully process the experience.”

‘After almost five months I unfortunately discovered major complications and both could not continue. After the devastating loss that split me in two, I wasn’t sure I could have a safe pregnancy,” Poppy wrote.

“So this third one felt like a huge blessing and yet there was also a warning cloud present.”

In February, the wellness guru first shared an emotional video detailing her baby loss, telling fans it was about four years ago when she was “diagnosed with very low fertility.”

“A few years after that I went to a mentor of mine who was a tarot card reader and he told me I might be pregnant… I had to explain that there was a good chance that it was actually biologically impossible for that to happen,” Poppy continued.

In February, the wellness guru first shared a video detailing her baby loss, telling fans that it was about four years ago when she was “diagnosed with very low fertility.”

‘I forgot and four months later I found out I was pregnant out of the blue.’

Poppy then suffered her first ‘heartbreaking’ loss and six weeks later discovered she was pregnant again. She then lost her second baby at the same time at five months.

“The first was heartbreaking, the second was torn into little pieces and it was completely devastating,” she admitted.

Poppy said she began to “heal” after a psychic she interviewed for her book told her that her unborn son was in the room with her and gave the message that “it wasn’t the right time for him to come to Earth.”

Poppy rose to fame as a presenter on ITV2 and MTV, before launching an award-winning mindfulness app, Happy Not Perfect, and writing a best-selling book on anxiety and self-love.

With fans including Millie Mackintosh and Pixie Lott, she has become a leading voice in the world of wellbeing and mental health.
