When Irish football hero Troy Parrott’s new club sent a private jet to take their €20million signing from the Netherlands to Seville last week, his girlfriend Lauren Bowry certainly looked set for life in La Liga.
Settled in the plush cream cabin next to Troy’s sister Emmie, champagne glass in hand and spotless in pale blue, the 25-year-old fashion and lifestyle influencer documented the trip to Spain for her followers.
It was a suitably glamorous start to an extraordinary new chapter for the couple.
Troy, 24, has just completed a successful move from Dutch club AZ Alkmaar to Spanish side Real Betis, in a deal worth an initial €16 million, which could rise to €20 million with add-ons.
The Dubliner has signed a five-year deal until 2031, marking a remarkable rise for the Irish striker – and his Spanish dream is already off to a promising start.

On Tuesday night, Troy made his La Liga debut at Valencia’s famous Mestalla Stadium, coming off the bench in the 71st minute as Betis secured a 1-0 win.
So private jet one week, winning La Liga debut the next, life moves rather quickly for Troy – and for the beautiful girlfriend who accompanies him along the way.
Not that Lauren is particularly unfamiliar with the finer things in life.
A glance at her Instagram account reveals countless designer handbags, luxury shopping trips, night sailing and an enviable summer spent hopping between Miami, the Bahamas, Mallorca and Turkey.
If this was life before her boyfriend became one of the greatest Irish football signings in recent memory, one can only imagine what Sevilla have in store.
So who exactly is the woman accompanying Irish football’s man of the moment to Spain?
SHOW BUSINESS DREAMS
Although Lauren now looks every bit the thoroughly modern WAG, she has been aiming for fame since she was a teenager.
Her television career dates back to 2017, when, still in her teens, she appeared in 14 episodes of the British reality series Stage School.
Three years later a significantly greater opportunity came along.
At the age of 19, Lauren auditioned for the BBC talent show Little Mix: The Search, where she appeared in front of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson.
She impressed enough to earn a spot in the five-member girl group Melladaze alongside Aislí Moran, Megan Whelan, Ellie Allen and Liv Aidam.
Lauren apparently also provided plenty of entertainment offstage, with bandmate Aislí describing her at the time as “the funniest person I’ve ever met.”

Melladaze reached the final stages of the competition and continued after the cameras stopped rolling, releasing original music before eventually going their separate ways in 2023.
By then, another relationship in Lauren’s life had become quite important.
It is believed she and Troy started dating in 2021 – when Troy was playing in England on loan at MK Dons – and have now been together for almost five years.
Yes, Lauren was there during the considerably less flashy period that saw the former Tottenham prospect take on a series of loans as he tried to establish himself.
She then saw him blossom after moving to the Netherlands, first at Excelsior Rotterdam and then at AZ Alkmaar, where his goals eventually turned him into the striker who now commands an eight-figure transfer fee.
Troy Parrott celebrates his move to Real Betis with girlfriend Lauren
Along the way, she has become very close to the Parrott clan, with Troy’s sister Abbey publicly referring to Lauren as her ‘sister’.
It seems Lauren’s influence on her friend goes beyond offering support from the stands.
When Troy accepted a 2025 Fashion Player Award in Amsterdam last year and was asked if he had a stylist, he said no, adding, “But my girlfriend, she knows what she’s doing.”
A look at her outfits on Instagram suggests he’s after the money.
HOOP STREET MEETS CHANEL
Despite all the expensive handbags, Lauren is far from a designer label snob.
Indeed, one of the secrets to her polished social media aesthetic seems to be a decidedly influencer-friendly mix of luxury and more accessible price points.

The American fast-fashion giant Fashion Nova is particularly prominent. Lauren regularly tags the label while modeling the pieces, which include the Ciao Bella crew-leg jeans (€30.95), a Sunset Sequin mini dress (€40.95) and the three-piece Maya shawl skirt set (€39.95).
She still looks a million bucks and at that price, they’re looks that many of Lauren’s young followers can afford to recreate.
Her accessories, however, are a different matter.
One particularly revealing photo offers a tantalizing glimpse into Lauren’s enviable wardrobe, where several pastel quilted Chanel handbags sit side by side next to a striking multi-coloured Louis Vuitton bag.
Lauren’s enviable wardrobe, with several Chanel handbags priced from €10,000
If you want an indication of how expensive her taste in handbags can be, a new small classic Chanel handbag currently costs an eye-watering €10,000.
The shelves above are equally desirable. Sitting among rows of heels and holiday sandals are instantly recognizable Hermès Oran slides, currently priced at around $635 a pair, alongside Alaia’s cult fishnet ballerinas, for around $790, and crystal-embellished Jimmy Choo sandals, with similar styles fetching more than $750.
She wears designer watches and sunglasses, is fond of Louis Vuitton bracelets and is also very much into the bag range from the French fashion houses – another holiday ensemble was completed with a striking black bag with the iconic colorful Multicolor monogram, which cost around €4,000.
Lauren clearly enjoys spending time with her family, and on one particularly fabulous trip to luxury department store De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam, she went shopping for designer shoes with her sister and niece, the trio sipping champagne as they browsed through the shoes.
Lauren later posed outside the store, laden with Bottega Veneta shopping bags, and hydrated with a refreshing drink from Joe & the Juice. That’s how WAGs roll!
BRAND LAUREN
This year, Lauren signed with Irish influencer agency ICON Management, which describes her as a fashion and lifestyle creator who is building an engaged following across fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
The move marks an interesting new chapter, with Lauren’s first paid partnership arriving this year with Korean skincare brand Beauty of Joseon, while the aforementioned Fashion Nova makes repeated appearances in her fashion content, although she has not been announced as an official ambassador for the bargain brand.

Cult activewear label Alo is another recurring presence in her wardrobe – again, it’s unclear whether she’s more than just an avid fan of the label – while she’s also showcased beauty products including Irish cosmetics brand KASH Beauty.
So while her boyfriend is now Ireland’s most high-profile footballer, Lauren herself is making waves and her social media already offers the glossy fashion and travel aesthetic brands they crave.
But if Lauren’s professional influencer career is just getting off the ground, she’s certainly had plenty of practice creating the content.
SUNSEEKKER
This summer alone has provided enough material for several years of holiday envy.
One caption pretty much summed up the prevailing mood of Lauren’s summer: ‘Eat sleep bikini repeat’ – as Lauren bounced between a series of glamorous destinations.
Lauren in the Bahamas earlier this year
Lauren took time out during her vacation in the Bahamas to post content
There was Miami, where evenings consisted of time aboard a private yacht and dinner at celebrity favorite Carbone.
Then came the Bahamas and its almost impossibly turquoise waters, where Lauren posed on pristine beaches and cuddled a piglet while visiting the famous Pig Beach.
In another photo, she strolls through the tropical setting in a colorful outfit with a white Chanel handbag dangling from her perfectly manicured hand.
Then there was Bodrum, Turkey, where Lauren soaked up the sun at the luxurious Edition hotel, all with matching chic put-together outfits.
In addition to concerts – including Olivia Dean at London’s O2 – Mallorca has also had many glamorous dinners, beauty events and nights out.
Now comes Seville. There’s no doubt that the private jet that carried the loved-up couple on their way to their new Spanish life provided a fitting glimpse of what comes next.
Because after a summer full of dreams, one thing is certain: Lauren Bowry’s already fantastic life seems to become even more beautiful.
