Love Is Blind stars reveal what you didn't see in the pods - from secret dates to Emma Willis' sweet advice

Love Is Blind British stars have revealed all the invisible secrets you didn’t see in the pods during the drama-packed third season.

Netflix fans blindly watched 30 single people dating in pods hoping to get engaged to their husband or wife, trying to see if love really is blind.

The cast members said that many more connections and proposals take place in the pods than what actually drives the final Netflix recording.

The series followed just six of fourteen engaged couples as they honeymooned, lived together and walked down the aisle in a huge extravaganza.

Presenters Emma Willis and her husband Matt reunited with the cast in Sunday’s final episode to find out whether those who said yes have stood the test of time.

Following the explosive reunion, Ciara and Chevanique revealed what really happened behind the scenes during the entire process.

Ciara, who married Ajay, was one of the first to fall in love within just two weeks of dating, while Chevanique failed to find a suitor.

Reflecting on her ‘intense’ experience in an interview with the Daily Mail, Ciara revealed that many of her dates were not broadcast.

She said: “I’ve experienced every emotion you can physically experience and it’s just something you can’t explain to anyone, especially the pods like dating, starting with dating for fifteen people.

“Obviously, building this intense, strong connection behind a wall is a lot of work because that’s all you do all day, every day, for two weeks.”

The Pilates instructor added, “There were a lot of relationships between me and Ajay that you don’t see at all, especially in the pods.

“It’s just [filmed] For 10 hours, you know. I mean, they can’t show everything. There was a really beautiful moment when Ajay actually planned for me to teach him Pilates. I talked him through a lesson and that was really sweet.”

Although power couple Emma and Matt are rarely seen in the episodes, Ciara and Chevanique revealed that they are much more involved behind the scenes.

When I revealed the sweet words of advice Emma gave the girls,” Chevanique said, “When I would talk to Emma, she would simply say, ‘Be true to yourself.’

“You know, she’s a fellow brummie girl, so she said, ‘Just be yourself.’ I think we all just followed that.”

She added of Emma and Matt’s wedding: “They are so genuine as a couple, you can see that connection and they just said we had to be open and honest.”

Chevanique revealed that only part of her journey in the pods was broadcast, as she admitted that Joshua wasn’t her only connection.

Chevanique said, “A lot of people assume Joseph was my only connection. He wasn’t, he wasn’t even my number one connection.

“There were two people I was dating in the pods and Joseph was one of them, and I walked away from a connection that I didn’t think was right for me because the person wasn’t very genuine.

“And I was still exploring my other connection and it ended the way it was supposed to end.”
