Kelly Clarkson wrapped up her eponymous daytime talk show on Monday, signing off after seven years.
The singer brought her daughter River Rose (12) and son Remington Alexander (10), who supported her from the audience.
Clarkson shared the children with her late ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, who died last August at the age of 48 after a battle with cancer.
The series finale featured throwback clips of the kids who have appeared on the show multiple times since it aired in 2019.
The American Idol winner taped the final episode in June, with showrunner and executive producer Alex Duda telling People about the “emotional” experience of saying goodbye to the show.
She called Clarkson a “connector” and said they wanted to make the final curtain call a “Kelly by Request” show to connect with her loyal fans and viewers.

Her children were in the audience to support her during the taping, which took place in early June, and joined her on stage for a hug at the end.

For the final taped episode, Clarkson performed her “most requested” song ever for the final “Kellioke” segment, singing Golden by KPop Demon Hunters.
“We just tried to make it a celebration, especially that last episode, we tried to make that for the fans and help them say goodbye,” Duda said of making the final episode in an interview with People.
‘And for seven years we listened to them: ‘What songs did you want to hear and what moments did you want to see again?’
“So it seemed like the right thing to do to do an entire show on demand,” Duda added.
Clarkson called the final take a “bittersweet” moment as she finished her take with her children joining her on stage and embracing her in a hug.
‘It’s been seven years. We haven’t changed anything, but when you look at River and Remy, you know time has passed because they’re almost adults and they’ve done such a great job. They did a great job,” Duda said of Clarkson’s two children appearing in the finale.
Ahead of her final day on the show’s set, Clarkson asked her children about their favorite moments from her show.

The final episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, which has won 24 Daytime Emmy Awards over its seven seasons, aired on Monday, August 31 on NBC.
For her daughter River, she told her mother that she enjoyed “watching you shine.”
Earlier this year, she made an announcement in February that she would be stepping back from her talk show host duties to make her children a “priority.”
In a statement shared via social media, Clarkson addressed her fans and discussed her departure from her long-running show.
She wrote in her post, “This was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last appearance as host of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
“Stepping away from the daily schedule allows me to prioritize my children, what feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”
She also said in her announcement, “I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people on The Kelly Clarkson Show, both in Los Angeles and New York.
“There have been so many great moments and shows in these seven seasons,” she continued.
“I am forever grateful and honored to have had the opportunity to work with the best band and crew you could hope for,” she wrote.
She also mentioned “all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us” and thanked “all the fans who supported our show.”
At the end of her statement, she expressed her gratitude “to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”
