Karel And Camilla They were all smiles as they enjoyed traditional Highland games at the annual Braemar Gathering in Scotland.
The King became embroiled in the festivities when he donned a kilt for the 200-year-old event in Aberdeenshire on Saturday.
Dressed in a brown tweed blazer and matching waistcoat with a burgundy tie and blue shirt, Charles smiled as he wore the traditional checked garment with bright red knee-length socks.
Meanwhile, Camilla wore a green button-up jacket, matching feather hat and red skirt.
The King and Queen were spotted smiling throughout the event, held at The Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park in the village of Braemar.
Charles grinned as he presented trophies and took part in the ‘ancient’ festivities, which date back to the time of King Malcolm Canmore more than 900 years ago.
The events included sprint and middle distance races, as well as long, high and triple jump competitions, with the winning athletes taking home thousands of pounds in prize money.
The meet also included pipe bands, Highland Dancing, Tug-O-War battles and track racing.

Residents also took part in the ‘much-loved’ sack races and local children took part in some competitions.
With a heritage dating back almost a millennium, to the time of King Malcolm Canmore, the Braemar Gathering has been held in its modern form since 1832.
The annual event attracts large crowds, who come to proclaim their monarch as ‘chief’.
The Braemar Highland Society, originally called the Braemar Wright Society in July 1815 and given royal status by Queen Victoria in 1866, organizes the meeting every year.
Since 1848, the meeting has often been attended by monarchs and other members of the royal family.
Prize money of £4,500 is on offer for the 15 competitions in total and £950 for the eight youth events. During the festivities, participants can also win medals and trophies.
