Liam and Noel Gallagher looked in good spirits as they left the Venice Film Festival on Sunday after the premiere of their Oasis documentary.
The hitmakers gave a brotherly performance on the red carpet on Saturday evening at the premiere of Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger.
Noel, 59, described Liam, 53, as ‘delightful’ and said that although Liam has never apologized to him, they have managed to rebuild their relationship.

Noel looked casually cool in a navy blue jacket, while Liam opted for a trendy suede jacket upon arrival at Venice airport.
The brothers waved to fans and signed autographs after boarding a water taxi together.

This week it was reported that Liam failed to show up to the final rehearsal before the Oasis reunion tour began.
The group returned to the stage at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on July 4 last year for the first time since 2009, but the singer caused chaos when he failed to show up for the final run-through, only appearing 20 minutes before the gig.
In the new documentary, the Daily mirror Noel said: ‘We have an opportunity here to change the story of the band. We have a chance to solve all the problems we just let drift apart.
“The last run-through, the night before. I haven’t seen him. Ohh. The following is one of the biggest damn moments of our lives, right. And he didn’t rehearse.
“I’m like oh yeah? He comes by 20 minutes before the performance and asks ‘Okay, how is the catering?’.
“I’m like, what the fuck is this…what the fuck. And then he takes my hand and I say, “What the hell?”. And there he goes, sounding like he was 30 years young. Just got up and done it. And I’m like, ‘You’re absolutely crazy.'”
The film – which used remote cameras to capture rehearsal footage without disturbing the band – showed how tense relations were in the early days between brothers Liam and Noel.
Oasis started rehearsals without their singer, who eventually came in and asked, “Are we ready then?” before you start singing.

The Oasis ‘Live in 25’ reunion tour earned each of the Gallagher brothers around £100 million, and will be followed by another tour next year.
But to this day, the inside story of how and when the warring couple made peace has never been told.
Noel said he was surprised by his own emotional response to his reconciliation with Liam, and had to turn his back on the public for much of the 41-day tour to hide his tears.
He said, “All the little things that used to irritate us about each other are gone. We have now come out as equals. Here’s a word I never thought I’d say about him: delightful.”
He added: “We get along great now, we text like normal people. The music brought us together.’
Despite the apparent outbreak of peace, the Gallagher brothers chose not to submit to a press conference where they could be asked questions about their relationship.
The film’s co-director Will Lovelace said, “It seems like they’re getting along pretty well.”
In the documentary, in which they are both interviewed, Liam notes that the make-up was done: ‘Without saying a word’.
He never apologized to his brother, despite their infamous rows in Oasis before the 2009 split, and the sniping in the years that followed, including insults against Noel’s daughter Anais and his now ex-wife Sara.
Sara isn’t even mentioned, despite the fact that their divorce is widely believed to have paved the way for the truce, with Liam calling her ‘Yoko Ono’, who was famously blamed for the break-up of The Beatles – and worse.
Liam clearly doesn’t want to talk or say sorry for what happened. He says, ‘Leave it outside, mate, we had a bit of a fight, you know what I mean.’
He later adds, “I didn’t mean for it to be like this.”

The filmmakers admitted that the Gallaghers couldn’t really talk to each other when filming began during rehearsals for the tour.
They traveled separately and the tour promoters unusually only paid them after they had completed all 41 dates because they had such a history of conflict.
Since they weren’t speaking to each other, they were initially interviewed separately, with Noel saying he simply couldn’t imagine sharing the stage with Liam again.
At their first meeting, in a rehearsal room before the tour, they can’t look each other in the eye.
Liam enters the room and asks why the drums have a shot and says, “Shall we get started?”
He leaves at the end of the day, once his vocal performance is over, and lets the rest of the band finish the song as the door swings open behind him.
Noel later tells his bandmates: ‘He’s going to be in a bad mood. He leaves in a bad mood. He just comes in and then leaves.”
Creator-writer-producer Steven Knight said, “We didn’t really know how it was going to go when we started. These are working class British people, they’re not going to hug and kiss each other.
“It wasn’t until they started the tour that they were in a place where they could sit down with each other.”

Liam refused to do a run-through on the eve of their first concert, in Cardiff last year, and turned up at the event with just twenty minutes to go.
Noel is seen nervously pacing the loading dock waiting for him. When Liam arrives, “he asks, ‘How’s the catering?'” says Noel, adding that he is surprised when Liam takes his hand so they come on stage hand in hand.
Liam, never one for too much introspection, says, “All you have to do is put on your big boy pants and get going. Do it well and get people moving.’
As the tour progresses, their children meet for the first time in many years and relationships thaw.
Noel has two teenage sons, Sonny and Donovan, with his ex-wife Sara, and Anais with first wife Meg Mathews.
Liam has Lennon with his first wife, actress Patsy Kensit; Gene from his marriage to Nicole Appleton of All Saints, and Molly from a brief relationship with singer-songwriter Lisa Moorish in the late 1990s, all of whom toured. He also has love child Gemma who lives in New York.
Noel says: ‘My children met his children. They didn’t know each other, they’ve never met, they’re all best friends now.”
Liam adds: ‘They love it – they get bloody speckled every night.’
Initially, Noel believes that they will not make up even though they have agreed to the tour.
He says, “I was born with one fatal flaw in my character: I will not forgive people. That’s something I was born with. I have no forgiveness in me at all.’
About his brother he says: ‘He’s a man who really doesn’t care***. He is who he is and that’s the way. He’s not going to change. He doesn’t come to us, we have to go to him.’
Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger launches on Imax screens and in cinemas on September 9, and the directors say they hope fans who couldn’t get (or pay for) tickets to the performances will finally get as close as possible to the experience of having been there.
