Katie Price has revealed the full extent of her black eye after getting a forehead filler the day before the National Television Awards.
The former glamor model, 48, shocked fans with a heavy make-up look as she turned heads on the red carpet ahead of the ceremony on Tuesday night.
In an Instagram video posted the next day by makeup artist Mitchell Halliday, Katie revealed that she had to create a dramatic makeup look to hide the bruises on her face.
Katie spoke to the camera with a bare face showing her blue eyes and said, “He is [Mitchell] I took his work off the shelf because yesterday I decided to have filler applied to my temples.
“I had no idea about the swelling, and today it’s the NTA red carpet. He has to work extra hard to transform this.’
Mitchell then discussed a step-by-step tutorial on how he managed to cover up Katie’s bruises with his own beauty products, Made by Mitchell.

He revealed that the inspiration behind the look was large sunglasses, adding that they wanted it to create drama with bold black eyeliner and highlights.
The National Television Awards marked Katie’s first public appearance since she reportedly dumped husband Lee Andrews via text message and contacted a divorce lawyer about ending their whirlwind marriage.
Covering her new breast implants, she paired a long-sleeved white shirt with very racy hot pants in nude and black lace with black tights.
Katie completed the look with black heels, gelled her hair into a wet look and accessorized with large diamond Valentino earrings.
Katie was joined by her daughter Princess, who couldn’t have contrasted her mother’s look more in a shimmering blue ball gown.
Wearing a dress that matched her name, the 19-year-old dazzled in the glitzy dress as she wore her blonde locks in loose curls.
Earlier in the day, Katie showed off her new, larger breast implants and a black eye, just hours after flying back from Brussels where she had the cosmetic procedures done.
Katie, who has had around 17 boob jobs – and only recently increased her cup size this summer – took to Instagram to show off the aftermath of the surgery.

Undeterred by her blue eyes and bandaged breasts, a determined Katie revealed she had her hair and make-up done to walk the red carpet.
Katie said: “So everyone, it’s National TV Awards. What did Price do yesterday?
‘So I went to Brussels because one of my breasts was still slightly bigger than the other. So they put in a new implant and while they were there I said, “Oh, go ahead, just put a little bit more in.”
The television personality said she had filler applied to her face, but it “makes her look like a hamster.”
Showing the swelling and bruising, Katie said: ‘Where my face was hollow here as you get older and lose weight, he put filler in for me, obviously while I was sleeping.
‘He does it under the muscle down to the bone. I woke up this morning, I didn’t have anything put in, nothing, but I think the swelling has gone down so I look like a hamster and it hurts.’
Last week it was revealed that Katie and Lee’s marriage was over after she discovered he had ‘just £2.22 in his account despite claiming to be a millionaire’.
Katie’s last message to Lee, 43, on WhatsApp is said to have said: ‘I’ve been played and you are not who you say you are. Why did you lie to me?’
Katie attended the NTAs after Sky aired a four-part documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which explored three decades of her life for the public.
Last month, Olivia Attwood’s show Price Of Perfection aired on ITV and Katie made a guest appearance where she opened up about her extensive cosmetic surgery.
Katie has undergone multiple surgeries, including six facelifts, seventeen breast enlargements, dental procedures and fox-eye surgery.
Still, Katie estimates she only paid a fraction of the price because of the free procedures she was offered.
Although she has received many free treatments over the years due to her fame, Katie insisted she “could pay if she wanted to.”
“How many operations do you think you’ve had in total?” Olivia asked.
“Oh my God, that’s really hard,” Katie said. ‘Maybe about thirty or forty? I must have done that.’
Olivia asked, “You’ve had a lot of free surgeries, but you’ve also paid a lot. Would you say it’s been a mix of free operations and paid over the years?’
Katie said: I probably paid £40,000 all in.’ Completely shocked, Olivia replied, “In total? Is that it?’
She hit back: “I could afford it if I wanted to get it done.”
