Spencer Pratt said he was excited about rumors that Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show on ABC could end next year.
The 43-year-old Los Angeles resident referred to X on Tuesday, referencing the possible end of the talk show, as well as the term of California Governor Gavin Newsom.

The Hills alum’s social media post came after a Page six report stating that Kimmel’s “contract will not be renewed,” marking the end of his show after 24 years on the air.
A spokesperson for ABC Entertainment told The Daily Mail in a statement on Tuesday: “This information is incorrect – any reports regarding the future of the show at this time are purely speculative.”
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Pratt and Kimmel for further comment on the story.

The bad blood between the late night host and reality star began to boil earlier this year during Pratt’s mayoral campaign in Los Angeles.
Before Pratt’s third-place finish in the primaries last June, Kimmel denounced the Republican candidate’s credentials and campaign platform during a May 27 broadcast.
“You get a guy…whose job is to be the screaming jerk on reality shows, and his house burns down,” Kimmel said, referring to Pratt who lost his home in the 2025 Pacific Palisades fires.
Kimmel said of Pratt, “So even though he didn’t have private insurance on his house and doesn’t believe in climate change, he’s understandably angry about his house burning down.”
The late-night host, who has had several high-profile flare-ups with President Donald Trump in the past year, said Pratt’s complaints attracted “attention” because “he’s a pretty famous person,” taking things down a political path.
Kimmel said of Pratt, “For the first time in his life, people agree with what he has to say – it’s hard not to agree with what he has to say.
“He’s angry about the same issues that a lot of people here are angry about. Does he have solutions to those problems? No.’

“He clearly promised that if Karen Bass or Nithya Raman were elected mayor, he would move out of LA,” the ABC host said. “He said he was done with LA, and Spencer, if you’re looking, we’re so sorry you’re leaving.”
The late night host said, “You said you were going and I know things may be tight right now, especially out of state donation money is running out.
‘Moving is expensive. To help you out, we rented you a U-Haul.”
He added: “We know we will miss you dearly. You are a man of your word and you need to go.”
Kimmel showed off how he decorated a U-Haul truck with balloons, a cutout of Pratt looking angry and a sign that read “Just Beat.”
Speaking about the moving vehicle, he said: ‘Our staff has been busy all day decorating you – and everyone will notice you and wave you goodbye as you leave.’
Kimmel said he hoped Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag “would be happy wherever they ended up.”
