Kanye West and Kim Kardashian both came out to support their daughter North at her debut solo concert in Chicago on Saturday night.
The exes were seen cheering on the 13-year-old during her sold-out one-night performance at The Vic Theatre, albeit from opposite sides of the VIP balcony, according to footage from fans posted on Instagram.
The parents watched proudly as North wowed the crowd with her stage presence as she performed songs from her EP NOrth4evr, including an unreleased track that sampled her father’s Coldest Winter.
Chicago native West, 49, was seen grooving to the music and filming the spectacle on his phone, while Kardashian, 45, was seen smiling and pointing at North on the stage below.
Kardashian posted a video from North’s show in Chicago about her Instagram stories with a wide view of screaming fans and a rear view of the SKIMS mogul as she captured the teenage artist in all her glory.
Instead of using a huge group of background dancers, North, who left Kardashian fans in despair after appearing on TikTok with a different nose, opted for the less-is-more approach that put the focus entirely on herself.

North simply shook her head left and right, made some robotic movements and swished her long turquoise hair, and the crowd went wild.
The young rap artist was joined by a pair of backup dancers who performed synchronized performances alongside the star attraction.
A TikTok A video shared by a concertgoer showed West leaving the venue with his bodyguards amid a crowd of fans after the concert.
Both West and Kardashian had other matters to attend to in Chicago besides North’s big night.
Kardashian visited the SKIMS flagship store in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood and posted a trio of photos of her posing with the mannequins on Instagram.
On Thursday and Friday, the Gold Digger rapper appeared at Chicago’s Soldier Field stadium to perform alongside special guests including Common, Rick Ross, Travis Scott and Lupe Fiasco, according to Billboard.
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021, and while it started off cordial, it became increasingly controversial over time due to West’s public outbursts and custody issues involving their four children: North; Saint, 10; Chicago, eight; and Psalm seven.
They eventually reached an out-of-court settlement, and their divorce was finalized in November 2022. They agreed to joint custody, although Kardashian will do most of the parenting. Entertainment tonightT.
