The dress code was Y2K – we’d say ‘Noughties cringe’ was closer – but the most striking detail of Bernadette Sukkar’s birthday party wasn’t the flashy outfits… but who wasn’t there.
As the Sydney society dusted off their Juicy Couture in honor of the Body by Berner founder turning 36, two household names were noticeably absent from the festivities.
Neither eyebrow queen Kristin Fisher nor nude artist Dina Broadhurst attended the party, raising eyebrows due to their previously close ties to the birthday girl.
Broadhurst is a regular at Sukkar’s Body by Berner Pilates studio, so society watchers fully expected her to swap her workout clothes for something festive and join the party.
As the Mail reported last week, she is back in Sydney, having recently returned from Ibiza following the break-up of her relationship with German Toyboy Danny Tchalaby.
A source close to the former couple revealed that they had fallen out over her friendships with her exes, who she reportedly described as her “support network.”
The dress code was Y2K, but it was the conspicuous absences that added a touch of intrigue to Bernadette Sukkar’s birthday party this weekend. (Bernadette Sukkar is pictured arriving at the bash)

Now that Broadhurst is back on home turf and a regular at Sukkar’s busy training studio, her absence is sure to set tongues wagging.
Fisher’s absence also sparked a lot of debate, especially since Sukkar was a guest at her 40th last year and the pair are known to be close.
Was it a stupidity or just a scheduling conflict? Only Broadhurst and Fisher know for sure, and neither responded to requests for comment.
Still, some observers suggest that Bernadette’s social status has changed since she married Buildcorp Chief Operating Officer Jordan Sukkar, pushing her into increasingly rarefied circles.
The celebration at Archie Brothers in Alexandria was attended by many other notable guests including Deborah Symond O’Neil, PR queen Montarna McDonaldstylist Caroline Trans and designer Michael Lo Sordo.
Sukkar embraced the Noughties theme in a baby blue Juicy Couture tracksuit, later ditching the sweatpants for tiny shorts and a cropped T-shirt, complete with belly button ring, knee-high boots and trucker cap.
In one of the photos shared from the evening, she posed with Madeline Holtznagel And Simone Keizer.
But there was still one familiar face missing from the social media galleries – and we’re sure she made it through the door.

Poppy Tzaneros was photographed by the Daily Mail arriving with her husband Anthony, but she was noticeably absent from the party photos shared by Sukkar.
Poppy had arrived toting a Mini Kelly Hermès handbag worth $29,100 and Y2K chic channeled in a Manuba print shirt from Pucci, retailing for $1,350, paired with straight-leg jeans.
Her look was finished with green Amina Muaddi heels — worth about $600 on the resale market — and what appeared to be a Rolex watch.
Anthony, meanwhile, eschewed the dress code in a simple navy shirt and blue jeans, adding a designer touch with Gucci sneakers for $1,520.
Without those arrival photos, anyone scrolling through the party posts might have missed Poppy’s presence altogether.
The most likely explanation for their less prominent presence is the collapse of ACFS Port Logistics, Anthony’s family’s company.

ACFS Port Logistics, founded in 2005 by Tzaneros patriarch Terry and his son Arthur, Anthony’s brother, went into voluntary administration and receivership on August 6 with debts of about $60 million to the Australian Taxation Office.
Arthur later resigned as CEO after his leaked WhatsApp messages about the alleged Scots College gang rape became public.
The Daily Mail also reported last week how the Tzaneroses had brought in crisis communications consultants to manage the fallout.
In the aftermath, family members shut down their social media and retreated behind the gates of their multimillion-dollar homes.
Despite the criticism, Poppy’s performance showed that she remains active on the Sydney social circuit, even if she no longer broadcasts it on Instagram.
