This Morning star Nicola Thorp has revealed her boyfriend died ‘unexpectedly’ in his sleep aged just 47.
Nicola’s boyfriend Danny tragically left behind his baby daughter, Dani Bear, and fiancée Victoria.
The TV presenter, 37, who played Nicola Rubinstein, shared some photos of their time together, writing: ‘Last week a friend of ours died unexpectedly while he was sleeping.
“He was an incredible father, partner, friend and colleague to so many who thought so much of him.
“His name is Danny, and he is survived by his infant daughter and his fiancée, my wonderful friend Victoria, who has shown so much strength and courage in the face of unbearable grief.
‘Keep your loved ones close. We love you Danny.”

She wrote: “Last week a friend of ours died unexpectedly while he was sleeping. “He was a wonderful father, partner, friend and colleague to so many who thought so much of him.”
Nicola starred in Coronation Street for two years after landing the role in 2017. She has since switched from acting to journalism and presenting.
Nicola’s followers shared their condolences as they wrote: ‘I’m sorry to hear this’ and ‘sending so much love’.
The presenter also shared a link to a fundraising set up to support Victoria and their daughter, with the aim of raising £13,000. It now stands at just over £10,000.
Victoria’s sister wrote in the description: ‘Last week our family’s world changed completely when my sister’s life partner and future husband Danny passed away incredibly suddenly and unexpectedly. One moment life was going on as normal and the next moment everything had inexplicably changed.
“There are truly no words to describe the shock and heartbreak of losing someone you love without warning. But beyond the unimaginable sadness, my sister now faces a future she could never have prepared for: raising their beautiful daughter, Dani Bear, without her partner, sole breadwinner and Dani’s father by her side.
‘Dani Bear was simply the apple of his eye. He absolutely adored her and she adored her father. Of all the heartbreak that comes with losing Danny so young, knowing that my sister now has to raise her little girl without him by her side may be the hardest thing to understand.
“Danny was a much-loved partner, devoted father, son, brother, family member, friend and highly valued colleague. His sudden death has left a huge hole in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
“Danny gave my sister the freedom, security and ability to be a full-time mother and raise Dani Bear the way they both wanted. As these matters proceed, due to the many formalities and practicalities that follow such a sudden loss, my sister will not receive any immediate financial support and this side of the matter is uncertain.
“We have created this GoFundMe to give her some financial security and breathing space in the weeks and months ahead, by helping with immediate expenses, daily living expenses, housing costs and childcare, as well as any counseling, therapy, bereavement support or other professional services that can help Victoria and Dani Bear through the incredibly difficult journey ahead.”
