Sheryl Crow lends musical talent to star-studded American Heart Association benefit concert…after Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination

Sheryl Crow took the stage Wednesday night at the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection concert in New York.

Launched at Jazz At Lincoln Center, the event is billed as breaking the news about America’s most prolific killer of women: heart disease.

As the festivities unfolded, Sheryl, 60, lent her formidable musical talents to the glittering lineup of stars parading the stage.

In keeping with the spirit of the occasion, she dressed in a country-chic crimson leather jacket and a matching pair of skintight pants.

However, as her performance progressed, she removed her wrap to reveal a skintight white top that emphasized her enviably toned physique.

Her latest benefit concert comes hours after news broke that Sheryl had been nominated for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.

Sheryl’s fellow nominees include A-list musical acts like Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, and the late George Michael.

She shined bright that night as she walked the American Heart Association red carpet and flashed her winning smile for photographers.

The Soak Up The Sun songbird opted for a dripping crimson strapless gown with layered drapes of matching thick fringe.

Her ensemble was accented with feathers and sequins, shimmering under the lights and amplifying the sense of glitz that surrounded her.

Although Go Red For Women is hosting the concert, the event was initiated by The Heart Truth of the government’s National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Each year, Go Red For Women features a cohort of ‘Real Women’ selected from across the United States to be its ambassadors.

This year’s class is made up of 12 women from various backgrounds who have survived stroke or heart disease, according to the American Heart Association.
