Rihanna reveals if she’ll be attending this year’s Met Gala… as she teases ‘amazing’ new music is on the way
Rihanna informed fans that she will be attending the upcoming Met Gala as she shared her fashion plans for it.
The 36-year-old Fenty designer β who was pregnant with her second child at the Met last year β revealed she’s going for a ‘simple’ look at the annual gala celebrating the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,β and the official dress code is βThe Garden of Time.β
“I’m actually keeping it really simple this year… It’s about what my makeup is going to do and what my hair is going to do,” the Umbrella singer shared. Additional on Saturday.
The star added that she has narrowed her options down to two dresses.
“Very simple… compared to everything I’ve done, I’m coming to eat!” Rihanna joked.

She also revealed how her style has changed since becoming a mother. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first son, RZA, in May 2022, and their second son, Riot, 15 months later.
“When you become a mother, your style goes from ‘blah’ to ‘let’s see what fits’ to ‘I’m going to be a bad bitch today.’
“Sometimes you have to remind yourself that you’re still here.”
The busy mom said she will take some time for herself on Mother’s Day.
“Sleep, hopefully… sleep, and maybe I’ll get a bouquet of flowers…” she revealed about her plans.
“No matter what I do for our moms, they really deserve the spotlight on Mother’s Day this year… They’re literally holding it back right now while I’m here and Rocky is out of town.”
The mother of two then addressed the ever-lingering curiosity surrounding her upcoming music.
“It’s going to be amazing,” she told the outlet.
