Kim Kardashian showed off her new ice blonde look this week on her hairdresser Chris Appleton’s Instagram.
Dressed in a lush black fur coat, the 43-year-old reality star twisted from side to side to show off the hairstyle for the camera.
She wore her silk locks back in a bun, which she accessorized with an elaborate pair of earrings and flattering makeup.
“Ice Kimmy,” Chris wrote in the caption of his Instagram album, explaining: “We wanted to keep a short carrot and the blonde cool and creamy. I colored it in a few sessions to keep the integrity of the hair nice and juicy.’
Her latest transformation comes almost two years after Kim went blonde for her Marilyn Monroe look at the Met Gala – and worried she had damaged her hair so badly it was falling out.

She spent ten hours bleaching her hair in preparation for the event, resulting in the sleek black platinum she wore on the red carpet on a ‘fashion night out’.
Kylie Jenner later posted a YouTube video about her own preparations for the Met Ball – including a visit she paid to Kim while the latter was getting her hair done.
She praised Kim for the “bold” decision to bleach her hair, prompting Kim’s response: “Oh, I’ve been doing this for ten hours.” I risk my hair falling out.’
Kim famously embarked on a grueling weight-loss program to fit into the Marilyn Monroe dress, successfully losing 16 pounds in just three weeks.
Marilyn herself had to be sewn into the gold gown she wore as she seductively sang Happy Birthday To You to John F. Kennedy three months before her death.
When she wore the dress from Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! borrowed, Kim was shocked to discover that she couldn’t fit her world-famous curves into it.

“I looked at it and said, give me three weeks and I had to lose 16 pounds [to] today to be able to try this on. It was such a challenge, it was like a role. I was determined to fit in. I don’t think they believed I was going to do it, but I did it.”
To achieve her goal, she “would wear a sauna suit twice a day, run on the treadmill, completely cut out all sugar and carbs, and eat only the cleanest vegetables and proteins.” I didn’t starve myself, but I was so strict.’
Kim has also denied allegations that she damaged the Marilyn dress, noting that Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! took her side on the issue.

The allegations were largely based on photos of the affected dress that surfaced online – but Ripley’s defended Kim by citing a 2017 report that noted “a number of seams have been pulled and worn.”
Kim struggled to squeeze into the dress and ultimately couldn’t zip it all the way up, so she covered the affected area with a white fur stole.
