Perrie Edwards 'splits from her management and record label after fifteen years together'

According to reports, Perrie Edwards has parted ways with her management, Modest Management, and record label Sony after fifteen years.

The 33-year-old singer is said to have rejected the offer to make a second record with Columbia.

Perrie has now signed up with Diverse Artists Management – ​​the team behind acts such as Tom Grennan and Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm.

In 2024, Perrie launched her solo music career with the hit single Forget About Us.

The single charted in the Top Ten in Britain and has had over 51 million streams to date. Perrie subsequently released several other songs in 2024, culminating in a total of 98 million streams.

However, during the Christmas holidays of 2024, Perrie decided to pause her solo music career.

She then released her debut album last year, titled Perrie.

The singer rose to fame as part of girl band Little Mix on The X Factor in 2011, with the group winning the series.

They launched a decade-long career that made them one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, with more than 60 million records sold worldwide.

The line-up included Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie and Jesy Nelson. After their split, they each entered into separate ventures to launch their solo careers.

Perrie married her footballer husband Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in June at a picturesque Catholic church in the sleepy village of Estoi, Portugal, with Perrie beautifully dressed in a Dana Harel lace Bardot dress.

The couple welcomed their second child in January, a daughter Alanis, Axel’s sister who was born in 2021.

Speaking about her relationship with Alex on Jamie Laing’s Good Company podcast shortly before their wedding, Perrie said: ‘It’s security, it’s calm.’

‘It means you can approach that person with anything and know that he or she will support you. They always have your back.

‘It’s a healthy love and I can’t explain it. It just feels nice.’
