The beloved actor, who is now 37, also played the son of Michelle Pfeiffer’s character in the 1996 film One Fine Day, before later leaving Hollywood to work as a legal analyst.

Decades after he retired from acting, Linz looked unrecognizable during a rare sighting in Los Angeles on Monday.

Sporting a bushy beard and shirtless, the former actor was pictured doing outdoor chores near his home.

He stayed comfortable in gray Crocs as he swept the sidewalk and cleared weeds.

The former Hollywood star wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty as he pulled weeds along the sidewalk.

The Daily Mail has contacted Linz for comment.

The Santa Barbara, California native made his acting debut at the age of six in an episode of the TV show Cybill.

He next appeared on Young and the Restless in 1995.

His next major role came in 1996 when he co-starred with Pfeiffer and George Clooney in One Fine Day.

Linz rose to international fame when he replaced the character of Macaulay Culkin for the third installment of the Home Alone franchise.

His sighting came just a day before the death of Home Alone 2 star Tim Curry. The legendary film and TV actor died on Tuesday evening at the age of 80, his manager confirmed on Wednesday.

He was best known for his role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
