This is the moment a van is driven the wrong way on a dual carriageway during a high-speed 15-mile police chase.
Footage appears to show a white Citroen repeatedly weaving between lanes on the A20 in Kent on Sunday as dozens of motorists try to avoid a head-on collision.
The 53-second clip, which was filmed by a passenger in a car on the other side of the road, shows a van driving along the eastbound lane with its hazard lights flashing.
The Citroen is said to have left the A20 by driving incorrectly onto a slip road before police rammed it off the road in Bromley, in the south-east. Londonand arrested the driver.
Photos show the vehicle, believed to have been stolen, hanging in the air, surrounded by shards of glass.
The alleged chase took place just over a week after a separate incident in which two officers were killed when a car, traveling in the wrong direction along the A66, crashed into their marked police vehicle, near Middlesbrough.
PC Matthew Blades, aged 37, and PC Tom Clough, aged 38, and five members of the public traveling in the Volkswagen Passat were pronounced dead at the scene.

That accident also came just days after five young men were killed and an innocent family injured in a head-on collision on the M9 in Co Kildare, Ireland.
Kent Police said a man smashed a window and stole the Citroen van from a property in Swanscombe at around 2.55pm on Sunday.
According to the police, the owner was known to the suspect.
Officers found a van several hours later in Swanley, where it reportedly failed to stop and traveled to London, where Met Police took over the pursuit.
Police officers stopped the driver after he made tactical contact – a maneuver used to bring a fleeing vehicle to a controlled stop – on Mottingham Road in Bromley.
A police officer suffered injuries to his hand and was taken to hospital before being discharged. No other serious injuries were reported.
The police confirmed that a van drove on the wrong side of the A20 for a ‘short time’.
One person who saw the crash scene told The News Shopper: ‘It sounded like an air raid was about to start.
“Never seen so many police cars.”

At least eight police vehicles arrived on the scene after the crash.
Barney McGinley, 33, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and no insurance.
He appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday where he was remanded in custody.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said in an updated statement: ‘Kent Police were called at 2.55pm on Sunday to reports that a man had smashed a window and taken a van that did not belong to him from an address in Swanscombe.
‘The owner of the building was known to him. At around 6.45pm, Kent police officers found the van in the London Road area of Swanley.
‘The car failed to stop and entered London where Metropolitan Police officers assisted in the arrest of the driver after he made tactical contact with the vehicle in Mottingham Road, Bromley.
‘One Metropolitan Police officer suffered a hand injury during the incident and no other serious injuries have been reported.’
