Ambulance, police and police rescue vehicles gathered outside One Global Resorts Green Square in Sydney’s Zetland on Tuesday as filming for the 2027 season was underway.
The man reportedly suffered several injuries and required ambulance and police assistance before undergoing spinal surgery.
The large presence of the emergency services led to frenzy among the cast and crew.
Photos taken by Daily Mail show an ambulance parked with its side door open next to a marked police vehicle, with emergency services and medical equipment nearby.

The hotel, formerly known as SKYE Suites Green Square, will serve as the couples’ home during the experiment, providing the backdrop for their daily relationships away from the dinners and commitment ceremonies.
MAFS moved its couples to the Green Square property for season 11, which airs in 2024, after four years at SKYE Suites on Kent Street in Sydney’s CBD.
Designed by Koichi Takada Architects, the hotel is located within Infinity by Crown Group’s signature development.
The apartment-style suites are complemented by a heated infinity pool overlooking Green Square, landscaped gardens, a spa, sauna and gym.
Meanwhile, details from the 2027 production suggest viewers can expect plenty of relationship drama when the show returns.
Former Love Island Australia contestant Zac Nunns has joined the experiment as an interloper, marrying TikTok influencer Vanilla Milla, with his former co-star Trent Woolman serving as best man.
It comes after MAFS expert John Aiken warned that the upcoming season will be the show’s most ‘extreme’ yet and will be heavily influenced by TikTok.

The departure surprised the remaining participants, who were told that the groom would not return to filming.
“He was there one day and gone the next,” said a production insider.
‘There was no grand farewell and no opportunity to write ‘leave’ at the next commitment ceremony. Once the decision was made, that was it.”
The exact circumstances surrounding the groom’s move have not been disclosed.
