‘Manosphere’ streamer Ed Matthews has been jailed for attacking an alleged pedophile with a stab, it has been reported.
Matthews, a good friend of streamer HSTikkyTokky and appeared in Louis Theroux‘s Inside the Manosphere documentary, which he previously streamed live, in which he and a group of “hunters” confronted alleged pedophiles.
In June 2024, the 24-year-old was given a community order after sharing a video of himself attacking a man he believed was a pedophile.
He was fined £264 and ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and rehabilitation activities as part of his sentence.
But on August 19, after failing to comply with the order, he was jailed for 12 weeks at Basildon Magistrates’ Court, as reported by The sun.
In the original livestream, Matthews mugged the alleged pedophile and told him to eat an extremely spicy potato chip or he would be arrested by police.
Matthews then wrestled the man to the ground and held him down in the video.
He was convicted in 2025 of assault by beating and using threatening and abusive language or behavior likely to cause intimidation, alarm or distress at Willesden Magistrates’ Court.

The man the streamer was convicted of beating will go on trial in 2028 for trying to meet a child after grooming it.
In response to his conviction, HSTikkyTokky claimed that Matthews’ conviction was ‘absolutely ridiculous’.
In a video shared to Instagram, Matthews claimed he was “on a high 23 hours a day right now because I’m on a high.” All alone in my cell’.
He also urged his followers to come to his upcoming court hearing next month.
Earlier this year, Matthews appeared in Louis Theroux’s documentary Inside the Manosphere.
Mr Theroux interviewed Matthews during his stay in Marbella, where he also spent time with HSTikkyTokky.
During their conversation, Matthews shared anti-Semitic claims that Jewish people controlled the world “without the best intentions” and used “vibrations that will bring you down negatively.”
In a post online after the documentary, he asked if the Netflix-produced show was a “hit piece” and said “maybe we can make a hit piece on it.” [Mr Theroux]’.
