Lana Del Rey lets alligator guide Jeremy Dufrene's husband carry her bag while shopping for the anniversary

Lana Del Rey and her husband Jeremy Dufrene showed off a surprisingly unguarded look at their marriage during a shopping trip in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 41-year-old singer (real name: Elizabeth Grant) was spotted visiting a Ralph Lauren denim store with her alligator guide husband.

Dufrene, who is ten years older than his wife, proved he wasn’t afraid to lend a helping hand when he placed her leopard print tote bag on his shoulder as they left the store.

The lovebirds were spotted less than a month before the second anniversary of their wedding in 2024.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Del Rey’s rep for comment but has not yet received a response.

Del Rey looked cool and casual while shopping in a light blue denim button-down shirt that she left completely undone to reveal her white tank top underneath.

Lana Del Rey, 41, gave a glimpse into her marriage to alligator guide Jeremy Dufrene when he was spotted holding her down while they went shopping at a Ralph Lauren denim store in Los Angeles.

The Ultraviolence singer also wore high-waisted jeans and sporty white and pink New Balance sneakers.

She wore her dark brown ombré hair, lightly feathered and parted in the middle, to match her usual retro style.

Dufrene was dressed even more casually in a gray T-shirt with black sports pants and gray-black sneakers.

He covered his mullet with a camouflage trucker hat and wore cool blue-tinted reflective sunglasses.

Last month, Del Rey gave fans another rare glimpse into her surprisingly quiet married life with Dufrene as their two-year wedding anniversary approaches.

The Born To Die hitmaker made headlines when she tied the knot with Dufrene – a 51-year-old alligator swamp tour guide from Louisiana – in September 2024 after dating for just a few months.

Although he has joined her at a handful of red carpet events in recent months, Del Rey has largely kept their relationship out of the public eye.

But in a rare departure last month, she proudly flaunted her love for Dufrene in an Instagram post featuring photos and videos taken during the Fourth of July celebration in Santa Monica, California.

Del Rey, who has nearly 25 million followers on the social media platform, smiled sweetly in one clip as Dufrene stood behind the singer with his arms wrapped around her waist.

The clip cuts as the two are about to kiss with the Santa Monica Pier – including the iconic glowing Ferris wheel – as the backdrop.

It appears Del Rey — born and raised in New York — and Dufrene celebrated the holiday with friends.

The couple appeared in a mirror selfie alongside two gray-haired individuals — neither of whom looked like Del Rey’s parents — and a petite brunette.

Del Rey also captured her husband helping set up a table of Fourth of July-themed food and desserts, including an American flag cake, in their room.

The couple decorated the space with red, white and blue balloons, a white floral bouquet and a patriotic duck statue.

Del Rey and her Fourth of July crew headed to Santa Monica beach in the evening to attend the city’s epic fireworks display, which draws thousands of people every year.

They hung out in the sand, with Del Rey filming the colorful explosions in the sky on her iPhone before briefly – and quickly – pointing the camera at Dufrene.

Also included in her Instagram slideshow was a short clip of Del Rey, wearing Daisy Dukes, a white crop top and a furry leopard print Chanel bag, as she cradled the Bengal cat she and Dufrene share.

Another clip, captured by Del Rey, showed the star wearing a pair of Ralph Lauren camouflage boots that fans know she’s been obsessed with for months.

While most of the content of Del Rey’s post focused on her recent vacation with Dufrene, the caption included an exciting revelation as the singer confirmed that her highly anticipated album Stove will be released soon.

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, she teased that she’s also releasing a companion record – titled Spyda – that emerged from her four-year journey to bring Stove to life.

Stove is the follow-up to Del Rey’s critically acclaimed ninth studio album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which she released in 2023.

“So much has happened in the last four years, so much time waiting for everything to fall into place and so much time wondering if it was okay for everything to fall apart,” Del Rey began.

‘Patience was the key, and between the songs came new thoughts about old friends and new dreams and from the doubt whether the tree I had planted would grow – new sprouts appeared and so a new rosebush grew under the willow -… A great companion album, put together by as many people as I could find to help me sort out my thoughts about how much was changing.’

Del Rey reassured fans that Stove is “as beautiful and intact as it was intended to be – a classic album if I may say so, much of which we have toured and you have heard – but not all of it.”

She then thanked “everyone involved” in the creation process before further teasing Stove’s “companion” album.

“And as the years went by, there was a beautiful, secondary album… A kind of commentary on everything that was going on, and the patience that was required – and the confidence that I had to have that not all the things that didn’t work were solely my fault.

“I’m grateful for all my collaborators, I think it took a lot of effort to finish it.”

Getting real with fans after postponing Stove several times over the years, Del Rey shared that she needs “a month to put it together and then send my two albums on vinyl” before it can be released.

‘Thanks for waiting. They are certainly two of my finest pieces of work, rooted in what I thought would be made of growth and joy, but laced with a secondary compilation of songs born of doubt, hope and the realization that new beginnings really mean starting all over again.

‘If life decides to send you down a different river, it really isn’t your choice and it really is an adventure in itself. I wrote about it. Now it’s time to trust the process and move downstream.”

Del Rey concluded her lengthy caption by expressing her gratitude to fans and jokingly saying that she “understands” if some don’t love her anymore amid the release date drama surrounding Stove.

Should celebrities like Lana Del Rey keep their weddings private or share more with fans?

“I’m so grateful to everyone who is still on board with me. And of course I wish everyone who stayed on land the best. Of course I understand. Just kidding. I thought we were in the boat together.’

To tide her fans over until they can get their hands on her two new bodies of work, Del Rey appeared to share cover art for both Stove and its accompanying album.

Stove leans into Del Rey’s elegant side, as she is pictured in a white vintage dress and surrounded by purple and green floral artwork.

Meanwhile, Spyda’s cover is clearly inspired by her husband’s rustic lifestyle in Louisiana, as it features photography of what appears to be an amphibious boat resting in the mud.
