Kyle Sandilands has exploded at his employees Mary Madigan and Brooklyn Ross, verbally abusing the pair during an interview with a school principal who quit her job for refusing to celebrate an annual LGBT+ awareness event.
The radio host, 55, called Brooklyn, 38, a “dumb bastard” on Tuesday after they got into a heated argument over show guest, Canberra Primary School principal Janelle Rowe.
Sandilands then went on to berate entertainment reporter Mary Madigan, telling her to shut up when she stepped in to defend her colleague.
Rowe had recently resigned from her job after being criticized for refusing to celebrate Wear It Purple Day at her school, choosing instead to organize a more ‘broad-based’ and ‘age-appropriate’ Bullying No Way Week.
Ross was offended, saying Rowe referred to the gay and trans communities as “inappropriate” and proceeded to question the teacher when she attended the live show.
However, Sandilands pushed back and defended Rowe, denying she was against the LGBT+ community.

“What is inappropriate about a child having same-sex parents, or me being gay? What’s inappropriate?’ said Ross.
‘That’s not what she says. She’s not saying it’s inappropriate,” Kyle said, and Janelle added, “That’s not what I said.”
‘You call it inappropriate. You do,” Ross said angrily.
‘She said she wanted to do something more age-appropriate. She doesn’t want to talk to the child of a Muslim family…” Sandilands began, but was promptly interrupted by Ross who said, “What’s inappropriate about the age of being homosexual?”
Sandilands then erupted when he was interrupted, snapping, “Wait a minute. I’m explaining it to you, you stupid bastard.
“Can’t you understand?”

Madigan tried to intervene and defend Ross, saying, “Hey. Hi.’
‘Shut up, Maria! I’m not talking to you. And I will speak how I want,” Sandilands said. “We’ve got a guy here who’s being attacked for just trying to expand it.”
‘Okay. I also feel attacked. With her,” Ross said, sounding more subdued.
‘You are not being attacked. She is not against the gay community or the trans community. She wants to tell four-year-olds not to bully each other. Something they can understand,” Sandilands replied.
It comes shortly after Sandilands revealed the brain aneurysm he was diagnosed with last year has grown.
The veteran host shared the news on his new Kyle Sandilands Live subscription show, revealing he had taken some time off work to undergo a medical checkup – and the results were not what he had hoped.

‘So today is the day I’ve been dreading. Well, it has grown a bit, which is not good news,” Sandilands said on a live feed from the local clinic.
He later told listeners that he was taking time to process the doctor’s update that the aneurysm had grown another millimeter.
Sandilands said: “It seems small but I didn’t want to hear that. It wasn’t what I wanted to hear.
‘I was hoping – and in my mind – I was thinking, ‘I’ve got this, I’m going to make it smaller’… but it was bigger.’
Sandilands ended by saying that doctors were not yet prepared to try to remove it surgically because that was riskier than leaving it as is.
“A lifetime of bad choices probably led me here. I am full of regret. “I don’t want to die and I don’t want to be cut up,” he said.
Sandilands went outside for the first timeh his health condition in February last year, which showed that the aneurysm was four millimeters in size.
Since then, it has grown 25 percent in the past year and a half.
