The 38-year-old country singer is in the middle of her Middle of Nowhere tour and a small fire ignites in the rafters of the stage as she performs her 2018 hit Golden Hour.
Ironically, the lyrics in the song read “you set my world on fire,” and the stage glowed with orchestrated sparks as she performed the song.
Images captured by concertgoer Daniel Preda, @misterpreda on Instagram, the professional showed how he bravely entertained the audience as a lamp flickered with flames.
‘That looks bad. Seriously, something’s on fire,” she said before adding: “I have way too much hairspray to be covered in that s**t.”
She tried to talk about making her latest album before admitting that the fire, feet above her head, made her anxious.
The Daily Mail reached out to Musgraves’ representatives for comment but did not immediately hear back.

‘I only like pyro when I know what’s going to happen,’ the singer-songwriter joked while remaining a good sport about the mishap.
Musgraves then jokingly asked, ‘Does anybody have like a bedazzled fire extinguisher anywhere?’
Elsewhere in the show, Musgraves made sure to pay tribute to the late Dolly Parton, after the music icon died on Tuesday at age 80.
To honor the legendary Tennessee native, she performed her song Rainbow, as well as a cover of Parton’s 1977 song Here You Come Again.
Before singing, Musgraves said in a video shared on Instagram, ‘I think the most amazing thing about all this is not anybody mentioning the Grammys [Parton won]the accolades, or something like that.
‘It’s a bit humanitarian [Parton was].’
Fans erupted in cheers before Musgraves said the late star was “someone who was always looking out for someone else, looking for the underdog, even when it probably wasn’t easy, even when it didn’t help her career.”
“And damn, we can all learn a lot from someone like that, you know?” she added. “It feels weird grieving a celebrity, right?” But she’s intertwined with who we’ve always been, so it just feels extra sad.”
The Mexico Honey hitmaker captioned the clip: “Rest in rhinestones, Dolly.”

When Musgraves heard the news of Parton’s death, he went to X earlier to mourn the loss at various posts.
“Dolly,” she typed, adding a broken heart emoji. “This really hurts.”
She then tweeted: “The world suddenly feels a lot less sparkling.”
Finally, she referenced Parton’s late husband as she wrote, “So happy she’s finally with her Carl Dean.” No one is talking to me today.”
