Sally Field, who co-starred with the late Dolly Parton in Steel Magnolias, arrived at LAX on Saturday with a family member.
The 79-year-old actress was seen for the first time since Parton died on Tuesday at the age of 80 after a short battle with cancer.
Field was dressed in a light blue wash with wide legs jeansa blue button-up shirt, a black blazer and an LA Dodgers baseball cap.
She wore white sneakers with pink soles and had her small black dog in tow.
Her graying dark hair fell out from under her hat and she wore square glasses.
In the wake of her death, Field took to Instagram to pay tribute to Parton with a photo of the cast from the late ’80s film set, captioned, “If there really are angels on earth, we just lost one.”

Steel Magnolias follows a group of women in the South who lean on each other through life’s trials and tribulations.
Shirley MacLaine, 92, who also starred in the film, said in a statement to People about Parton: “God sent her to us and she has returned home.”
Parton’s death was confirmed Tuesday in an Instagram video posted by Parton’s cousin and head of security Bryan Seaver.
She died after being admitted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville on August 21 with autoimmune and kidney problems. TMZ.
Four days before her death, the singer said People she had “so many things I want to accomplish,” including launching a new hotel and museum in Nashville, Tennessee.
“This video announcement is something that Dolly asked of me years ago before I fully absorbed it as a future reality,” Seaver said in the clip.
He praised his aunt for “living in the light” and said she was now “in the arms of Jesus” and in the company of her late husband Carl Dean, as well as her parents and “countless others who have watched her and longed to meet her in heaven.”

Parton’s legacy could soon expand as Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and Nashville International Airport plan to name the travel center in her honor.
Lee said he has spoken to Parton’s team about the proposal.
According to Page sixParton’s representatives expressed appreciation for the gesture and said they are open to the idea, according to a press release from Lee and the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority.
Should this become a reality, the new name of the transport center will further strengthen the impact of the star.
“Dolly Parton’s extraordinary life is forever woven into the fabric of our state,” the governor said in the statement. “From her rural East Tennessee mountain home to global stages, Dolly carried the volunteer spirit with her.”
He continued, “In a place where Tennessee welcomes the world, it is fitting that Nashville International Airport bears the name of our state’s favorite daughter and greets travelers with the lasting legacy of Dolly’s music, generosity, faith and kindness.”
