Jennifer Lopez’s intense work ethic has seriously compromised her health in the past and friends fear she is heading for another ‘burnout’ due to her heavy workload.
But the I’m Gonna Be Alright diva showed her defiance despite the odds in a new video posted to her Instagram stories early Friday morning.
Lopez, 57, was seen driving a chauffeured car as an inspirational and empowering message played over the soundtrack.
‘Be the person people look at and say, “How the fuck is this son of a bitch still doing?” That’s all you need to know if you’re doing that for life.”
The reel saw Lopez transition from contemplative to smiling as the words sank in, as he looked ready in a black-and-white striped dress. blouse with an elegant red tie, her makeup and hair flawless.
Her latest social media share comes after it was reported that friends are concerned the star is heading towards ‘burnout’ due to her brutal work schedule.

After the back-to-back releases of Office Romance, Kiss of the Spider Woman and Unstoppable, Lopez faces a busy promotional schedule from late 2026 to early 2027.
She will be on the block in support of the thriller The Last Mrs Parrish, in which she stars and serves as producer, and Ice Age: Boiling Point, in which she returns to voice the role of Shira.
Lopez also recently announced that a filmed version of her Las Vegas residency, The JLo Show, will stream on Paramount+.
“She works really hard because she wants to keep busy, even though there is some concern that she is burning out,” an insider told the Daily Mail.
“But this is how she stays sane during this strange time in her life.”

Now she fears the empty nest when her 18-year-old twins, Max and Oskar — who was born Emme but adopted the male name and started using the pronouns he/him in May — head off to college.
“It’s not an easy time for Jennifer, there are a lot of changes, it’s very emotional, but she’s finding comfort in working non-stop, which is great because her career is still going very well,” the insider said.
‘She just works, works, works! She loves being a workaholic, she is incredibly driven, a typical Type-A Leo who never wants to be out of the spotlight.
‘For her, working is better than staying home and eating a Nobu takeaway meal alone in front of the TV. She prefers to wake up at 5am and work a 14-hour day without complaining,” the source said. “But one day she might wake up completely exhausted.”
That’s exactly what happened a little over two decades ago when Lopez pushed himself to the limit and worked 98 days straight without rest.
Speaking about the SlimLess podcast in June, Lopez recalled, “I think I had done four movies in a row. I had recorded my second album, my J-Lo album, which was really big. I was working, filming every day… All hours, then I would go into the studio in the evenings, and on the weekends I would have junkets or video shoots or whatever.
“And I remember not keeping track of working 98 days straight without taking a day off. “Because we went back and counted, because we thought, ‘What happened?’
The breaking point came when she was filming the 2002 action thriller Enough.

“One day I’m sitting on the set of Enough and… every time I walk onto the set, I get a little… chatter in my heart,” she told podcast hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes.
“It’s like getting up… It finally got to the point where I felt really nervous. And I had the little girl [playing her daughter] at Enough. I had to say, “I’m really sorry honey, I feel really weird today, kind of tired or something” and she said, “It’s okay, you’re going to be okay.”
‘But I wasn’t doing well. And I went back to the trailer and sat down, and suddenly I just couldn’t see anymore. I couldn’t see clearly, something was going over my eyes and I couldn’t move.’
Her guard rushed her to the hospital, where doctors told her she was suffering from exhaustion.
‘I said to the doctor, ‘Am I going crazy?’ And he says, “No. You’re not crazy. You quit.”‘
