Brooklyn Beckham hits back and defends 'beautiful' Nicola Peltz after being told to 'feed' her back to back over his latest cooking video

Brooklyn Beckham has furiously defended his wife Nicola Peltz against skinny shamers.

The 27-year-old hit back in the comments section of his latest cooking tutorial on Instagram after a follower asked: ‘Are you commenting on everyone worrying about your wife and how sickly she looks? She puts herself out there and feeds her.”

Furious, Brooklyn replied, “Don’t ever talk about my wife. She is absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body. It’s shameful.’

Brooklyn has been married to 31-year-old Nicola since 2022 and last year they renewed their vows following their feud with his family.

David and Victoria’s eldest son also responded to those who criticized his homemade cottage pie, telling them: ‘I’m clearly not a professional chef.’

Brooklyn got a lot of advice on what he could do to improve the recipe since they were calling it “watery.”

A follower asked: ‘Are you commenting on everyone worrying about your wife and how sickly she looks? She puts herself there, feeds her’

Brooklyn said, “Never talk about my wife. She is absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body. It’s shameful’.

His followers told him to drain the mince well and let it cool before adding the potato, while others told him to add a generous dollop of cheese on top.

Fans wrote in the comments: ‘Mate, this isn’t criticism, it’s advice. The reason it has sunk is because you have to wait until the ground beef has completely cooled before you put your potato on it. Still a delicious dish’;

‘You need to cook all the moisture out of your meat so it can brown properly’;

‘It looks like your puree is too wet and your dish is too big. Try a shallow dish, maybe a Pyrex dish is better’;

‘I like my meat pies to be pure water…’;

Some were surprised that Brooklyn decided to cut his potatoes with their skins on and only remove the skins after he cooked them.

They said, ‘Why wouldn’t he peel the potatoes earlier?’;

“I had to look away when he started doing the potatoes.”

Responding to the comments, he wrote: ‘I’m clearly not a professional chef haha. Just love cooking and eating. Enjoy all the sweet comments’

Others were impressed with Brooklyn’s culinary skills and said: ‘That looks delicious!!’ and “Great chopping skills.” Yum.”

“Also, if anyone has noticed, I love making easy comfort food. My favorite.’

Earlier this month, Brooklyn shocked fans by cooking a pasta dish with seawater while on a luxury yacht.

The clip, which was originally shared last year, was reposted to TikTok as the aspiring chef took the opportunity to promote his Cloud 23 hot sauce while preparing a tomato pasta dish.

But Beckham’s eldest son immediately caused controversy when he dipped his pan into the sea to collect salt water to cook the pasta.

Brooklyn got a lot of advice on what he could do to improve the recipe because they called it “watery.”

His followers told him the minced meat needed to be well drained and cooled before adding the potato, while others were impressed

It appears Brooklyn was trying to poach his estranged father David, who also has a passion for cooking and even completed a culinary course during his time at AC Milan.

He told The Times in 2013: ‘Funnily enough, when I lived in Italy I did a six-month culinary course at a professional chef school and learned to make real ragu and fresh pasta.

“I went there three times a week… I was obsessed with perfecting the risotto because it’s difficult.”

Fans were less than impressed with Brooklyn’s kitchen antics as they followed the comments and joked: “Pasta water with a hint of burnt boat fuel, please sir”; ‘A bit dodgy the water’.

Another teased: ‘Hi, quick question. I don’t have the sea in my backyard. Is tap water sufficient?’

Others joked about the simplicity of the dish, adding, “Brooklyn, can you show me how to make a glass of water now?”; “Tomorrow I’ll make cornflakes.”

It comes after reports that Brooklyn and Nicola will reportedly no longer celebrate their first wedding due to the ‘bad memories attached to it’.

Sources close to the couple claim that their April 2022 wedding, which was attended by his family, is not an “occasion they will look back on fondly.”

The couple officially married during a three-day extravaganza at the Peltz family estate in Palm Beach in April 2022 in front of 500 guests.

They later renewed their vows in August 2025 – and pointedly did not invite the Beckham family.

In a further swipe at his estranged parents, Brooklyn and Nicola will now see their secret second wedding as their ‘official’ anniversary.

Brooklyn failed to post a tribute to Nicola on their original anniversary in April, while Nicola never celebrated.

It’s understood the couple both marked their new anniversary in an Instagram post.

A source said: ‘Brooklyn and Nicola’s first wedding in April 2022 is not an occasion they will look back on fondly. Nicola ended in tears. It’s not something they want to be reminded of.

‘However, their second wedding, where they renewed their vows last August with just her family and their friends, holds so many wonderful memories.

“Looking ahead, they have decided that this is the date they will publicly celebrate together,” she added to The Sun.

The Daily Mail has contacted Nicola, Brooklyn and the Beckhams for comment.

In Brooklyn’s damning statement earlier this year, Beckham’s eldest son explained that he and Nicola organized a vow renewal without his family because they wanted to “create new memories that bring us joy and happiness” after Victoria ruined their wedding.

In his January statement, Brooklyn described the “fear and shame” he felt when Victoria hijacked their first dance and called him “evil” while she was away from his table.

He wrote: ‘During wedding planning my mother went so far as to call me ‘evil’ because Nicola and I chose to include my nanny Sandra and Nicola’s Naunni at our table as neither had a husband.

‘Our parents both had their own tables, the same number of tables next to ours. The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was “no blood” and “no family”.

“My mother hijacked my first dance with my wife, which was planned weeks in advance, to a romantic love song.

“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage where my romantic dance with my wife was scheduled to take place, but instead my mother was waiting to dance with me.

‘She danced on me very inappropriately in front of everyone. I have never felt so uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.

“We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not fear and shame.”
