Armie Hammer's ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers vows never to marry again after actor's 'cannibal' scandal

Armie Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers has sworn off another marriage.

The Dash podcast host, 44, split from the actor, 40, in 2020 after 10 years of marriage, but it took three years for their divorce to be finalized.

When asked if she wanted to tie the knot again, she said We weekly: ‘Absolutely not. I remained unmarried for many years. Why should I [get married] again?’

Hammer was accused in 2021 of “forcibly raping” a former girlfriend in 2017 – while he was married – while several other women, including model Paige Lorenze, accused him of sexual, emotional and psychological abuse, which he has denied.

Around the same time, text messages allegedly sent by him were leaked by his ex-girlfriend Efrosina Angelova, revealing stomach-churning fantasies surrounding cannibalism.

While the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office revealed in 2023 that Hammer was under investigation, the case was ultimately closed after the district attorney determined there was not enough evidence to charge the Call Me By Your Name star.

Chambers said divorce was “the last thing they wanted.”

“I thought I had found my person for life, and I really believed in monogamy, and I really believed in the most important thing: family, and it is,” Chambers said in her interview with Us.

The former couple share daughter Harper, 10, and son Ford, seven.

“I remember praying every day and thinking, ‘How is this my life? I have the most wonderful children. I have the most wonderful family. I have the most wonderful children.’ [amazing] everything,” Chambers recalls.

“It was so precious that when you put things on a pedestal like that, it’s so fragile, right? In a strange way, at no point can I make a decision on my own about how this goes. So that’s the beauty of marriage in many ways, because it’s so precious and it needs to be protected.”

Chambers began dating boyfriend Ricardas Kazinec, a wellness therapist, in September 2022.

She even credited him with helping her transition from Grand Cayman to Los Angeles with her children in September 2024 – after living in the Cayman Islands since early 2020.

Chambers explained what stopped her from walking down the aisle again.

“I just don’t know that I would ever trust anyone to protect my heart like this again. And that’s like me right now in a therapy session,” she admitted.

Despite the events of the past six years, Chambers says she wouldn’t change a thing.

Chambers and Hammer share custody of Harper and Ford.

Chambers is the CEO of BIRD Bakery, which launched in 2012 with locations in Texas and Colorado, and she hosted a new TV series called Toxic about toxic and traumatic relationships for Investigation Discovery.

A new episode of her The Dash podcast drops every Tuesday and she and her cohost Marissa, who shares three children with her ex, have vowed not to “embarrass” their children.

“It’s wild because my greatest fear became my greatest joy, and I love my life so much, and I wouldn’t change anything other than protect my kids a little more from information they might find out later,” Chambers continued.

‘My children are always with me. I guess at the end of the day all they need to know is that they have two parents who love them, right? Everything else is just noise. Things we read in the headlines or things people think are salacious news – it doesn’t really matter when it comes to children.”
