Ariana Grande is reportedly ‘committed’ to promoting her upcoming film Focker-in-Law this fall, despite announcing a planned break from the spotlight.
The 33-year-old singer-actress, who just wrapped her Eternal Sunshine tour, stars alongside Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller and Blythe Danner in the comedy, which hits theaters on Thanksgiving Day.
In early August, Grande quit her West End role in Sunday In The Park with George, revealing a planned break amid “ongoing public scrutiny” over her apparent weight loss.
This is what a spokesperson for the star says People at the time: ‘Ariana will be taking a step back from visibility after completing the Eternal Sunshine Tour. She looks forward to wrapping up the tour and ending it on a positive note, both healthy and happy, and then taking a well-deserved break from public work and performances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.”
A source has now said this the exhaust that Grande will “continue to support her brand work throughout the hiatus.”
The Daily Mail has reached out to Grande’s representatives for comment but has not yet heard back.

Grande released a music video for her song Petal in July, which set off alarm bells when she appeared on screen with her sternum in view.
It even prompted a response from British actress and activist Jameela Jamil, who suggested an eating disorder may be at play.
Shortly after announcing her reputation breakthrough, the pop star privately emphasized that her break from the spotlight was planned “a long time ago,” telling fans at a subsequent show that “boundaries needed to be set.”
She made it clear to fans that the upcoming hiatus in public appearances had been “quietly orchestrated a long time ago” before insisting the decision had not been made because “negativity was ruining things for me.”
Her Eternal Sunshine Tour ended Tuesday at The O2 in London after a 41-show run spanning 10 cities.
“This has been one of the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences of my life and I just wanted to express my gratitude without completely sobbing,” the tearful star told fans at the final show, per People.
She continued, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been so special. I will always cherish this experience. I have the best fans in the whole world.’
Grande also took to Instagram to share outtakes from the concert, writing to her 362 million followers, “Thank you and I love you always.”

During her tour, she frequently changed the lyrics of her song Thank U, Next, referencing her roster of famous ex-boyfriends.
Although the official lyrics read, “I wrote a few songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh,” Grande revised the phrase during her recent shows.
And on Tuesday she fueled marriage speculation when she changed the words of the hit to: “I wrote a few songs about Ricky, I’m trying to make him my last.”
