Amanda Bynes Shows Off Ozempic Weight Loss In Miniskirt As She Resurfaces After Reaction To Death Of Fellow Child Star Hayden Panettiere

Amanda Bynes showed off her slimmed-down body in a flattering ensemble as she was spotted out and about in Los Angeles this week.

The 40-year-old revealed in December that she had lost 28 pounds with the help of Ozempic and has continued to lose the weight in the intervening months.

She looked slimmer than ever as she showed up for her latest sighting with her event planner boyfriend Zachary Khan.

She showed off her slender legs in a white-trimmed silver miniskirt and donned a loose-fitting white T-shirt with “NEW YORK CITY” splashed across it.

Bynes wore her platinum hair back and completed the look with a white handbag, teaming the look with light purple sneakers.

Although Bynes has largely kept her latest relationship out of the public eye, she posted a loving tribute to Khan this Valentine’s Day.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Bynes’ rep for comment.

She took to her Instagram and shared a video of them driving around at night, accompanied by the caption: “love u zachary.”

Bynes went viral last week for her public response to the death of her fellow former child star Hayden Panettiere at the age of 36.

Panettiere was found dead of a suspected overdose on August 16 at an Airbnb in Greenville, South Carolina, where she had been traveling with her short-term boyfriend Brian Hickerson, a resident of the state.

Hickerson, who had a turbulent romance with Panettiere and once went to prison for abusing her, was at the scene with his brother Zachary when she was pronounced dead, according to a heavily redacted police report. Her autopsy found “no signs of trauma” that “would have contributed to death.”

Bynes responded to the news by posting old headlines about an interview Panettiere gave in 2013, in which she claimed she could have avoided the flames that plagued contemporaries like Bynes or Lindsay Lohan.

‘Life can hit you hard and fast. What a terrible situation,” Bynes wrote. When a commenter admonished her to “please be kind,” she doubled down and replied, “I just said…glass houses.”

Bynes’ meltdown unfolded in headlines from 2012 through 2014 as she struggled with bipolar disorder, abused substances and had repeated run-ins with the law, including two DUIs and two hit-and-runs.

In 2013, her parents Lynn and Rick obtained her a conservatorship which they held until 2022, when she was released with their approval.

Panettiere, who was pictured earlier this year promoting her memoir, was found dead of a suspected overdose on August 16 at an Airbnb in Greenville, South Carolina.

She was placed in a psychiatric facility 5150 in 2023 after “wandering the streets naked and alone,” then beckoned to a passing car and called 911, according to TMZ.

Her parents did not attempt to reinstate the conservatorship, having taken note of the fact that she realized she was unwell and sought treatment on her own.

Last December, Bynes proudly informed her social media followers that she used to weigh 180 pounds, but “lost 28 pounds with ozempic!”

She posted a photo of herself saying she was “only 152 pounds,” adding, “I know I still look big, but this photo is truly inspiring to me!”

She had announced last June that she was “going on Ozempic,” amid the weight loss injectables craze that was sweeping the entertainment industry.

Declaring herself “so excited,” Bynes explained that she hoped to “get to about 130, which would be great so I can look better in paparazzi photos.”

In November, she revealed, “I’ve lost 20 pounds so far. I’m so excited about that, honestly. Besides, I still want to lose about 50 kilos.’

Speaking to fans via her Insta Stories, she specified that she was “now 163,” noting that she was “actually on the Ozempic pill, going from 173 to 180. So I was able to lose twenty pounds from 180 and now I’m down to 163 with the Ozempic shot.”

The Sydney White actress said the injectable “worked” and that she was “trying to lose more weight just to feel skinny and cute.”

She had explained in 2024 that she had gained 20 pounds due to depression, revealing that her ultimate goal was to get back to her teenage weight of 110 pounds; pictured in 2002 at age 16

The She’s the Man star had lip fillers installed last August and confirmed in 2023 that excess skin had been surgically removed from her eyelids.

She called the eyelid surgery – also known as eyelid surgery – “one of the best things I could have ever done for my self-confidence.”

Among the many recent changes she has made to her appearance, a tattoo she got with the Roman numeral

In April, the former child star swapped her previously platinum locks for raven black hair, although she has since decided to go back to blonde.

She performed a similar volte face on her eyebrows, which had been dyed various dark colors for years before turning them to a natural light brown shade last month, only to change her mind and turn them black again.

In June, she announced on Instagram that she plans to have a set of gold lower teeth installed to replace her veneers.
