George also dressed up on the eve of his Lifetime Achievement Award, in a smart gray suit.
The Aman Venice hotel, located on the canal and offering stunning views of the city, was the setting for the Clooneys’ star-studded wedding 12 years ago.
The hotel opened in 2013 in the 450-year-old Palazzo Papadopoli and offers rooms ranging in price from £1,000 to £3,200 per night.
