An American woman has been left red-faced after mistaking a man for country rocker Keith Urban during a drunken night out.
TikTok user Sophia, 22, went viral on Sunday when she uploaded a video documenting the bizarre experience, sharing photos and videos of her drinking tequila shots with the celebrity look-alike.
The video started with a photo of Sophia beaming ecstatically at the camera, alongside the words: “I’m only having one drink tonight.”
She then added a blurry photo of a man who looked like Nicole Kidman’s husband smiling in front of a bar.
“Keith Urban?” Sophia captioned the image.

Sophia and a male companion are then seen smiling and drinking next to the man, who sported long hair, leather bracelets and tattoos reminiscent of Keith’s signature style.
The video ended with a screenshot of a text message, in which Sophia had bragged, “Me and Keith Urban? We just did tequila shots!’
Sophia acknowledged that the man wasn’t really Keith and jokingly captioned her video, “Okay, but even sober me thinks he’s him.”

Sam McGovern, an Australian singer who was on Team Keith during his stint on The Voice in 2022, even joked about the video, writing, “This is not the guy who coached me on The Voice.”
