Tame Impala rocker Kevin Parker left some of his fans out after announcing he will no longer be signing autographs.
The Australian musician, who is currently on his Deadbeat tour of North America, Australia and Europe, shared the sad news in an Instagram post earlier this week, only to apologize to his loyal supporters who were offended by the move.
“Hey guys, quick PSA: Due to the rise of aggressive autograph dogs, I will no longer be signing anything or taking photos at the front of hotels or at airports,” Parker, 40, wrote in an Instagram Story post.
“So if you catch me, don’t be offended if I say no.
‘I wasn’t really passionate about it before, but they’ve started using children, which I think is completely wrong. I love you.’
The Perth-based musician further clarified his position on Wednesday, apparently after upsetting some of his most devoted loyalists.

“I felt like continuing on that note from yesterday…I love meeting fans and am almost always happy to take pictures and sign things,” the Elephant singer wrote.
‘The problem with these people is that they use bizarre tactics to make you think they are fans (you should listen to the stuff they make up, fake backstories, etc.).
“Remember, it’s just so they can throw it on eBay once they get your signature.”
He continued, “Sometimes it’s hard to tell the true fans from the eBayers, so I think the smartest thing you can do is just say hotels and airports are off limits.
‘The opposite of what I would want with this is for fans to think that I don’t want to meet them, take pictures etc.
“I love them and will ALWAYS be grateful for their love.”

Tame Impala is currently on a world tour, with Australian dates in October.
The Deadbeat tour kicks off at the Brisbane Entertainment Center on October 10, with further dates in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
It follows a successful year for The Less I Know The Better singer, who scored an early win at the music industry’s most prestigious awards ceremony.
Perth’s Tame Impala took home best dance/electronic recording for End of Summer during the pre-broadcast portion of the 68th annual Grammy Awards.
Creator Parker defeated big names, including collaborations between Disclosure and Anderson .Paak and Fred again.., Skepta and PlaqueBoyMax.
Parker took home the same award last year for Neverender, his first ever Grammy win from five nominations.
