Brad Pitt traded his scrubbed movie star glamor for a vaguely disheveled look in a new ad for De’Longhi espresso machines.
In the commercial, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Spike Jonze, the 62-year-old is seen with 16 dogs whose barking is subtitled.
Every morning, as he sleepily stumbles across his living room to use his De’Longhi machine in the kitchen, the dogs tease him for waking up late or being grumpy.
At one point they become furious with him for leaving his dirty dishes behind, to which Pitt – who recently confessed he was ‘off the wagon’ after seven years of sobriety – protests that he ‘came in so late last night’ before giving in and washing the dishes.
Even when he puts on a racy outfit that prompts his canines to say he looks “nice,” one of them mockingly asks, “Did you put on deodorant?”
By the end of the ad, he has successfully secured a cup of coffee, and as he sips it and sighs De’Longhi’s catchphrase, “Perfetto,” the dogs chuckle, “He said it wrong.”

Pitt is awaiting the release this month of his film Heart of the Beast, which centers on the relationship between a Special Forces officer and his retired fighting dog.
He revealed in an interview published last month that he had turned his back on seven years of sobriety and started drinking again.
Pitt gave up alcohol following the vindictive collapse of his marriage to Angelina Jolie, who filed for divorce in September 2016 after a mysterious dispute on a private plane in the presence of their son Maddox, who was 15 at the time.
Early in the proceedings, the FBI investigated allegations that Pitt became “physical” with Maddox on the plane, but the investigation closed without charges being filed.
In a new profile, Pitt offered his interviewer a glass of wine and laughingly noted, “I’ve been sober for seven years. And then I got out of the car again,” via Esquire.
‘In a more subdued way. A few times I got too confident and said, “Yeah, no, not good for me.” Not in large quantities,” he clarified.
According to Pitt, he could enjoy “a few” glasses of wine, but had to restrain himself from consuming “a lot.” I have to deal with it professionally.’
Jolie made sensational allegations about Pitt’s behavior during the 2016 private flight in a lawsuit she filed in 2022.

Towards the end of the ad, he has successfully secured a cup of coffee, and as he sips it and sighs De’Longhi’s catchphrase, “Perfetto,” the dogs chuckle, “He said it wrong.”
“At one point he poured beer on Jolie; in another he poured beer and red wine on the children,” she alleged in her court documents.
A source close to Pitt responded: “All parties have had this information for almost six years and it has been used in previous legal proceedings. There is nothing new here and it serves no purpose other than to be a media stunt designed to cause pain,” via CNN.
Jolie and Pitt biologically conceived their daughter Shiloh, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 18, and also adopted Maddox, 25, Pax, 22, and Zahara, 21.
Pitt is said to be estranged from his children, all of whom, except Pax and Knox, are now publicly known to have filed legal papers to drop his last name.
In 2020, Pax angrily denounced Pitt as a “world-class asshole” who made his younger children “tremble in fear,” and when the “fake baby” was in a dirt bike accident four years later, his father was reportedly unable to visit him in the hospital.
However, a source claimed this summer that Pax is still meeting with his extended family on his father’s side and has not filed to have Pitt removed from his name, according to Page six.
After getting sober amid the wreckage of his marriage to Jolie, Pitt noted, “I really enjoy wine, but I just ran it into the ground,” in a 2017 profile for GQ.

Pitt spent a year and a half in Alcoholics Anonymous with what he described as “all those men sitting around being open and honest in a way I’ve never heard before.’
He added, “It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of yourself,” in an interview with the New York Times.
“It was actually very liberating to expose the ugly sides of yourself,” said the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood actor. ‘That has great value.’
Jolie and Pitt are also still embroiled in a legal dispute over Chateau Miraval, the winery they once shared as a couple in the south of France.
The argument over the estate stems from Jolie selling her half to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler for $62 million in 2021 during her divorce proceedings.

Pitt sued Jolie over the sale of Chateau Miraval, maintaining that she was contractually obligated to obtain his consent as co-owner before unloading her share.
Jolie has addressed her abuse allegations and custody battle in the course of her years-long will battle with Pitt over the winery.
She has asked Pitt to “end the fighting” and drop the Chateau Miraval lawsuit against her so their family can have a chance to “heal.”
Jolie has also claimed that her decision to sell her stake was partly driven by the impact of Pitt’s “admitted alcohol abuse problem on their family.”
