Last month, Armytage impressed viewers by co-hosting the show while wearing a leg brace after suffering a painful injury.
She told her Instagram followers at the time that she broke her ankle while taking out the trash this weekend.
Sitting on the couch at home with her foot and ankle in a brace, she filmed herself talking to the camera before turning the lens on her extremely inflamed ankle and foot.
“One for the foot fetish brigade (of which there are many). Please excuse the grubby week-old Logies spray tan…,” she wrote alongside a laughing, crying and vomiting emoji.
Armytage also uploaded a video of herself on the couch, explaining how she ended up in a foot brace.
“I know what you’re thinking, why is she laying there with her ankle above her heart?” Well, say hello to my little friend,” she said, pointing the camera at her foot.
Armytage said she broke her ankle in “a few places” while performing the very mundane task.
“I wish I had a sexy story for you, but I don’t. One morning I was taking out the trash and I just missed the bottom step and twisted it,” she said.

And it seems they’ve found the right match, with the pair helping to boost the ratings by a whopping 60,000 viewers.
