I just finished writing a book called ‘The Madness of Cars’. Our society has become completely dependent on mass car ownership, and people often ask me how they get by without it.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. From being thirty times less efficient than a steel wheel on a rail, to causing heart disease and horrific deaths, cars are a dangerous madness that is ruining our beautiful countryside.

It’s time to rethink this obsession and take another look at the safe, efficient rail system we foolishly threw away. Watch the video above.
