Actresses Nicole, 59, and Sandra, 62, shared kind words about the singer whose death was announced on Tuesday.

The legendary country singer’s death was confirmed in an Instagram video posted by her cousin Bryan Seaver.

Dolly’s reps then revealed that the Jolene singer died after a ‘brief fight with’ cancerin a statement to People, although they did not reveal what type of cancer it was.

Sandra worked with Dolly on her 2005 hit film Miss Congeniality 2, in which Dolly played herself and made a cameo in a chase scene.

At the premiere, Sandra said of her former co-star, “Oh my God. I worked with Dolly. I worked with Dolly. She is so much, and everyone honors the most exquisite part of her.

“But she was someone who was definitely underestimated. And it’s only in her absence that everyone realizes how brilliant she was and how much we need her. And there is no one like her anymore.

“So I hope that with her passing she leaves behind a huge legacy. The responsibility for how to act and be as a human being. And I think she will too. I think she will. She floats. She’s floating.’

Meanwhile, Nicole confirmed she had been friends with the superstar, saying: ‘We knew her. I knew her. She was a light. Dolly was a light. She was one of a kind. And there will be no one like that.

‘Never was and probably never will be again. So we all bow and hold her. And as she would have wanted, she is held in the most special light with absolute love. She was the personification of love. So we love you, Dolly.”

Nicole added in her interview, “So we all bow and hold her. And as she would have wanted, she is held in the most extraordinary light with absolute love.”

“Our beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope and integrity to everything she touched,” the statement said.

“After bravely enduring a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, surrounded by loved ones.”

Her reps also highlighted the extraordinary reach of Parton’s “unparalleled generosity,” noting that she touched the lives of countless people she would never meet and was always willing to “lend a helping hand.”

“Whether it is the hundreds of millions of books donated through her invaluable Imagination Library or funding the research that helped create a lifesaving vaccine used around the world, Dolly’s unconditional love for all people has been the guiding force for her lasting impact.”

Despite her battle with cancer, Dolly remained optimistic and leaned on her deep Christian faith for strength in recent months.

“From the moment Dolly Parton was born, she was surrounded by faith, by God, by Jesus. Her grandfather was a preacher. Even in her Broadway show, she shows how much faith means to her,” a source told People.

‘And so it is normal for religious people to believe that God is in control. It doesn’t matter what doctors say, people can say it. It’s not over until God says it’s over. I think she worked every day and until God called her home, she was here and had more work to do.”

Dolly previously told the outlet that she prayed every day in a 2020 interview: “For me, it is my salvation. It helps me through everything.’

Following news of Dolly’s secret battle with cancer, fans on social media mourned the singer.
