Simmone Jade Mackinnon has made a plea for information about her missing sister.
The McLeod’s Daughters star shared a post on her Instagram page this week detailing the disappearance of her sibling, Kym Mackinnon.
The 51-year-old was last seen on Guanaba Rd near Tamborine Mountain, Queensland, but it is unclear how long she has been missing.
Kym is described as 165cm tall, very slim and with dark brown eyes and dark brown hair.
“Have you seen my sister?” Simmone, 53, captioned the post, urging the public to do the same Contact Politielink with some information.
“Be sure to share this post if you’re in Queensland,” she added.

When asked for more information in her comments section, the actress said she was limited by the active police investigation.
“The police will release an official statement very soon. “I don’t want to release any information until it has been triple-checked by them,” she added.
There was overwhelming support in the comments, including from her former McLeod’s Daughters co-star Rodger Corser.
“Dear Simmy, I can only imagine how you are feeling right now. Let’s get her found. Lots of love, sharing now,” he wrote.
Simmone replied, “Thank you so much buddy, we really appreciate it.”

The Australian actress played the role of Stevie Hall in McLeod’s Daughters from 2003 to 2009.
The Gold Logie-nominated star is also known for her time on Baywatch Hawaii, where she played Allie Reese from 1999 to 2000.

There was recent heartbreak for Simmone following the death of her former co-star Rachael Carpani last year.
Earlier this month, Simmone shared a sweet tribute to Rachael on the occasion of what would have been her 46th birthday.
Simmone captioned the images with some heartfelt words: “This morning I whispered to the wind of the southern sky…” Sending my love and birthday wishes to my friend who lives up there. Wrap yourself around her, give her a birthday hug from me.
“Happy Heavenly Birthday Carpo… I sure miss you.”
Rachael died on December 7, 2025, after a “long battle with chronic illness.”
