Millie Mackintosh has given fans a tour of her new home after moving into a rental property in London following her split from husband Hugo Taylor.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 37, and Hugo filed for divorce in February after seven years of marriage and both appointed legal teams, with the pair reportedly keen on a ‘clean break’ while continuing to co-parent their daughters Sienna, six, and Aurelia, four.
Last month Millie moved to her new rental house and after the breakup has been busy building ‘a whole new life’.
Millie shared the first in a series of Instagram videos with her 1.3 million followers, opening the door to her first home as a single mother and giving a tour of her chic living room.
Taking fans to the ground floor of the historic property, Mllie explained that when she moved in a month ago, “I’ve been away a few times, so I haven’t spent much time here.”
With her girls heading back to school after the summer holidays, Millie said she was keen to get started on her plans for the new home. She admitted, “There’s still a lot to do, but I want to show you the current state and I’ll talk you through my plans for each room.”

The cozy living room has high ceilings and historic accents, with Millie filling the space with a large corner sofa in mint green velvet.
She explained that she wanted to keep the rest of the space open so her daughters could play, adding, “There’s a lot of dancing in this room.”
Millie has also created a work area on the other side of the living room, and says it is the first time she has had her own desk.
The space is decorated with colorful artwork, including a piece created by Littlest Galleries that turns Millie’s daughters’ paintings into a large collage.
A 3D butterfly hangs in her office space, as Mille explains: “I love that butterflies symbolize new beginnings and that green is also my happy healing color.”
While her new home already looks super chic, Millie also gave fans a peek into her “trash closet,” admitting that “anyone with ADHD understands how much you need a closet where you can just throw stuff in and then close the door.”
Before their divorce, Millie and Hugo spent months completing a full renovation of their £5 million family home, sharing regular updates on the project.
In April 2025, Millie was a year into renovating the 19th-century mansion in Chelsea, revealing that the past twelve months had included “time, energy and late nights.”

The former couple are now reportedly planning to sell the renovated family home.
After moving in July, Millle shared that this next chapter will be “completely written on my own terms.”
She wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘Moving day. Nervous, excited, everything at the same time. And so it begins. New zip code, new front door, new chapter this time written entirely on my own terms.
“Divorce isn’t the ending I imagined for myself, but this house, this next piece, feels like proof that new beginnings can be truly beautiful, even if they start with cardboard boxes and a lot of uncertainty.”
Sharing photos of the empty rooms and packed boxes, she continued, “This is what starting over actually looks like. Not glamorous, not perfectly styled, just honest, and mine. I have learned more about myself during this interim period than I have in years.
