In March 2019 I scored a flight from Seoul to Jeju Island, South Korea.
One of my first stops was Oedolgae, a unique rock formation believed to have been formed by a volcanic eruption. Walking there from my hostel, I passed numerous waterfalls and witnessed the first signs of the island’s blooming cherry blossoms.
When I arrived, I watched the waves crash against Oedolgae and the other huge volcanic rocks protruding from the ocean floor.
