Howard Stern’s wife Beth Stern spoke for the first time about his new HBO Max project, following the recent announcement the radio icon will stream his show every week on the platform.
Beth, 54, spoke to The Daily Mail on Thursday while attending the New York Fashion Week show for Alice + Olivia at the 583 Park Avenue location.
The Pittsburgh-born model, author and animal rights activist asked about the HBO Max project and said, “Oh my god, it’s such a great [thing] -I mean, so Howard!’
Beth was asked how changes to Stern’s show will affect their family life, as he plans to air a new weekly live show on his Sirius XM channel Howard 100, after Andy Cohen takes over his 101 channel.
“It’s actually great for me because now he only goes to work one day a week – so I get more Howard at home and he’s still connected to the world, so it’s a win-win for all of us,” Beth said.
Stern, who has reduced his weekly episodes from two to one, will add new shows every Thursday on HBO Max.

SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein commented a press release dated August 31 on the new venture: “There’s simply no one like Howard, and the start of his new season is another exciting chapter in an extraordinary series.”
Greenstein said the company was “proud … that Howard, HBO Max and SiriusXM have now teamed up to create a compelling new video version of his show.”
The move back to a weekly show and one channel — and the resulting lack of need for content — led SiriusXM to lay off 12 employees last summer, including longtime writer Benjy Bronk.
Stern will continue to work from a studio in his Hamptons home, as he has primarily done since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Beth said Thursday that she and her husband “pretty much” stay in the Hamptons, “but we have to come back and forth sometimes.”
She told The Daily Mail that Howard keeps showering her with romantic gestures because he is always painting pictures for her.
Beth said, “It’s usually our animals, so he’s going to work on a butterfly for me now, because I love butterflies.
‘I saw him taking pictures of a butterfly. I think he’s going to paint me a butterfly.’

“I have 37 foster kittens in the foster room, so I literally come here and rush right back home because there are kittens that need me,” Beth said.

Beth added, “It’s such a New York day for me.”
Stern will return to his SiriusXM show on Monday, and the debut episode of his HBO Max show will drop on September 17, with new shows every Thursday.
