Artwork on a Harry Styles concert ticket for Wednesday’s show has sparked controversy for its imagery in the days leading up to the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks.
The back of the ticket for the English singer’s Together, Together tour appears to show a yellow vehicle with a figure inside flying over the Empire State Building.
Styles, 32, is in the middle of a Madison Square Garden residency that started on August 26 and ends on October 31.
Friday marks the 25th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center. A number of events are planned to commemorate this solemn day.
The Daily Mail has reached out to Styles’ representatives for further comment on the story.

Another user said the symbolism of the photo sounded inappropriate given the timing.
“A bit daring considering the week of 9/11 in New York, but the colors are cute!” said one user.
One person said that “ticket prices are already wild, but the alleged images of September 11 so close to the 25th anniversary make the reaction understandable.”
The user concluded that ‘some choices simply require more sensitivity.’
One user said the topic was not something to make light of.
“Um…no. Sorry. There is nothing funny about 9/11,” the user said. ‘Not even 25 years later, it’s funny when people immediately link it to that event.’
The One Direction alum remains on tour after doing shows in London, Mexico City, Amsterdam and São Paulo, with concerts in Australia planned.
Styles is on the road following the release of his album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally earlier this year.

The three-time Grammy winner concluded by saying, “I can’t wait for us to continue dancing with all our friends, I hope to see you there.”
