Lucy Davis has revealed her pride after completing a grueling hike before zipping through a canyon in California, weeks after revealing her cancer diagnosis.
The Office star, 53, announced last month that she has been diagnosed with incurable stage four breast cancer and “don’t know how long she has left.”
But she has told fans she is determined to “live out what’s left of my life in the most fun way possible.”
On Wednesday, she posted her latest adventure, a trek through Skull Canyon in California’s Temescal Valley, before taking on a thrilling zipline 200 feet in the air.
Lucy, whose cancer has spread to her bones, sometimes leaving her unable to stand and walk for long periods of time, told fans she was proud of herself for completing the physical challenge.
“I loved this zipline – @skullcanyonziplines – and I was kind of proud of myself for doing it because they said I was prepared for a 25 minute walk so I took my painkillers an hour before to prepare,” she explained.

‘On previous ziplines I was always driven to the first line and walked between the lines. But no. This was a legit hike to the first zip. It took me one hour and fifteen minutes.’

Fans flooded Lucy’s post with messages, calling her ‘an inspiration.’
Lucy replied to many of the messages, admitting to one fan that the zipline ‘That was the easy part: walking past the beehives scared me the most!’
Last month Lucie was supported by her father Jasper Carrott as she made her first public appearance since unveiling her cancer diagnosis.
The actress put on a brave face as she attended the For the Love of Fantasy & Sci-Fi convention at London’s ExCeL, where she reunited with her Shaun Of The Dead co-star, Simon Pegg, and the film’s director, Edgar Wright.
Lucy beamed as she slowly took to the stage after previously admitting that ‘standing and walking for too long can be difficult, and sometimes I have to use a wheelchair’.

Backstage she had a proud supporter when her comedian father Jasper, 81, was spotted through a window as his daughter walked in.
Jasper told the Daily Mail that he is “hopeful” for his daughter’s “future.”I have supported her in every way possible since her diagnosis.”
During her performance, Lucy called her fans her “second family” as she shared a poignant message about never giving up.
She told the crowd, “It’s like a whole second family you didn’t know you had. Everyone is like a community, friendly, supportive of us, but you and each other. So I’m quite hopeful about that, to be honest.
‘We need a little more kindness in the world, and we get it here. So I’m grateful to you.’
When asked what advice she would give to someone trying to break into the film industry, she said, “Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do or be everything you want to do or be.
“We all grow up with lies from the world that tell us we all have limitations, and none of us do.
The actress shared a photo of her friend and said: ‘I was so grateful for the support of my friend @jharris1231 who helped me, and the other people on the walk who never judged me’
“Our only limitations are the things we think limit us. You can do anything and be anyone, and you don’t have to apologize for it.”
Lucy’s appearance came just 11 days after she announced her incurable cancer diagnosis.
In her original Instagram post, she shared that she first noticed a “small, hard spot” in her breast a year ago and almost ignored it before seeing a doctor.
The star said that despite the cancer being declared incurable, she is “at peace with whatever comes next.”
Lucy shared her diagnosis alongside an emotional video of her sounding the bell for cancer treatment, writing in her post that she was told it’s ‘too late’ to undergo chemotherapy.
The star is best known for her role as Dawn Tinsley in the Ricky Gervais comedy The Office, and went on to star in the DC film Wonder Woman.
The actress has had a number of health issues over the years and underwent a kidney transplant in 1997 using an organ donated by her mother, Hazel. Eight years later, Lucy, who has diabetes, had to be treated in hospital for kidney failure but made a full recovery.
Lucy has also been open about living with bulimia, which was at its worst when she got divorced in 2011 after a five-year marriage to The Mentalist’s Owain Yeoman.
