Gwen Stefani is mourning the loss of her beloved dog Betty, who died at the age of 18.
The singer, 56, shared the news on Instagram and included a long montage of video and photos of the black and tan dog enjoying cuddles from her husband Blake Shelton, 50, and her youngest son Apollo, 12, and running around the family’s ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
“It is with the heaviest hearts that we share that our sweet Betty has gone to heaven,” Stefani’s tribute began with a trio of broken heart, dove and paw print emojis.
The No Doubt hitmaker added: ‘She made us all laugh for 18 years… we will miss her forever. thank you Betty for all the love and joy you brought into our lives.”
Also included in the slideshow were photos of Stefani doting on Betty while she rehearsed on stage with her band, Betty lounging in the sun, and Shelton giving the dog a treat in the kitchen, ending with a roll of the dog bouncing down a dirt road along the lake.
Betty famously appeared alongside the couple in the romantic music video for their 2019 duet Nobody But You.

Stefani, who celebrated her and Shelton’s fifth anniversary with a series of wedding photos, used to share clips of Betty accompanying her and Shelton on golf cart rides around their 1,300-acre ranch.
Betty may have originally belonged to Shelton, but the country singer joked that the pup loved his wife so much that she practically became Stefani’s dog.
‘She gets jealous. She’s Gwen’s dog now, so that’s where the jealousy comes in,” Shelton shared CMT.
However, Stefani insisted that Betty “loves both of her parents very much.”
Since they came together, their sprawling estate, known as the Ten Point Ranch, has become a haven for a menagerie of animals, from rescued pets to livestock.
They are also parents to a small mixed-breed dog named Ginger, who Stefani often calls Gingerbread in her social media shares.
Stefani and Shelton have also adopted several cats over the years, including a stray kitten they named Corn, after Shelton’s favorite crop.
In addition, they have horses with a barn and several ponds to walk around in.
The couple, who met as coaches on The Voice in 2014 and started dating in 2015 after their respective marriages to Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert ended, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on July 3 this year.

“5 years and every day is better than the last…,” the Ol’ Red singer wrote on Instagram, while Stefani reiterated on her own Instagram page: “5 years forever married to my.”
Meanwhile, Stefani previously admitted that her life was in “complete turmoil” before she started dating Shelton.
The No Doubt singer was initially reluctant to dive into a new relationship after splitting from 60-year-old Rossdale, who is best known as the frontman of British rock band Bush.
‘We had just met and it was chaos. Our lives were both in complete turmoil, all over the world. Nothing could save us at that moment,” Stefani said People.
“There was a point where I was like, ‘I can’t even talk to you. This is crazy. I have enough problems. This isn’t happening anymore. We’re not going to text or anything.’
Despite this, Shelton eventually managed to impress the blonde beauty with his musical talents.
Stefani said, “I think he really wanted to impress me because he doesn’t write songs as often as he used to. And I love writing songs. That’s it for me.
“If I want to feel like I have some purpose or some value, it’s about writing a song. That’s where I get my fulfillment.’

Another thing Stefani can count on is Shelton’s unwavering support, which he gave generously during her Las Vegas residency earlier this year.
“So proud of my wife @gwenstefani and the @nodoubt guys who worked really hard and put on this amazing show…,” Shelton wrote on Instagram after attending one of her shows at the Sphere.
He added: ‘Finally an evening free to see it… unreal.’
His post included a video of Stefani performing on stage as the country singer watched from the audience.
