Fans claim the cast of Home Alone 2 is CURSED as Tim Curry becomes the third cast member to die this year

Home Alone 2 fans fear the cast is cursed after Tim Curry became the third star from the film to die this year.

The beloved English actor, who played Plaza Hotel concierge Mr. Hector, who appeared in the 1992 blockbuster sequel, died Tuesday at the age of 80.

The tragic news came just over a month after the death of Brenda Fricker, who played the Pigeon Lady, and eight months after the death of Catherine O’Hara diem, who played the film’s lead role, Kate McCallister.

Social media users flocked to X to pay their respects to Curry, while also noting the string of deaths.

“That Home Alone 2 rewatch at Christmas is REALLY going to be a hit,” read one viral tweet.

The post included screenshots of all three actors as they appeared in the film.

Hundreds of others shared similar sentiments, with one describing the deaths as a ‘Home Alone curse’.

‘Three people from Home Alone 2 have already died this year. I hope no one else dies in Home Alone 2,” one person wrote.

“I don’t even know if I have the courage to watch it anymore,” another wrote in response to a tweet about the usual Christmas tradition of rewatching the movie.

“It really sucks that over time you’ll see more and more people who are no longer alive when you rewatch this movie,” another fan added.

President Donald Trump appears briefly in the film, with some sickened social media users saying the wrong cast members were left out of the film.

“The rest of the people who appeared in that movie, BEWARE,” one person wrote alongside a screenshot of Trump in the film.

“They’re calling it the ‘The Curse of Home Alone 2,'” another X user tweeted as they joined in making thinly veiled hints at the president’s brief cameo in the Home Alone sequel

Curry, who is also known for his role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, died at his home in Los Angeles Tuesday, his manager confirmed Wednesday.

His other iconic roles came in films like Clue, Annie and the horror film It.

No cause of death was given, but Curry had suffered serious health problems for more than a decade after suffering a stroke in 2012 that left him unable to walk.

Meanwhile, O’Hara, a silver screen icon as well as a pioneer and fixture in the comedy genre, died in January at the age of 71.

Fricker, an Irish Oscar-winning actress with a decades-long career on stage and screen, died on July 16 at the age of 81.

Meanwhile, grieving fans also remembered John Heard, who played Kevin’s father Peter in the films, as he died in July 2017 aged 71.

On Wednesday, Rosie O’Donnell, Carol Burnett and Selma Blair were among the stars who led the heartbroken tribute to the late star.

Burnett, who played Curry’s character’s sister in the 1982 movie musical Annie, fondly remembered her co-star on Instagram.

“We had such a wonderful time working together on ‘Annie,’” the 93-year-old comedian wrote.

‘No one can play lovable villains better than him. He was a dear friend. I was blessed to know him.”

She included a clip of the photo of the two of them and their castmate Bernadette Peters performing their breathtaking song Easy Street.

Rosie O’Donnell posted an old photo of Curry on her Instagram page and simply wrote that he had been the “sweetest man.”

Selma Blair jumped into the comments on Curry’s latest Instagram post and wrote, “Rest in peace. Kind and wonderful you.”
