Gina Rodriguez is seen for the FIRST time since giving birth on walk with her newborn

Gina Rodriguez was seen for the first time since giving birth to her first child taking a walk with her newborn in Los Angeles, California on Saturday afternoon.

While enjoying a leisurely stroll, the Jane the Virgin star, 38, wore a white baby harness strapped in front, keeping her newborn close.

The new mother kept a firm grip on her little boy’s back and could be seen looking down at her baby boy, who was kept swaddled under a white blanket embroidered with farm animals.

For her laid-back outing, the Golden Globe winner rocked a black T-shirt, leggings, a pair of Nike sneakers, glasses, and her brunette hair wavy in a low ponytail.

She and her husband Joe Locicero have not publicly announced the arrival of their baby boy, whose gender and name are still unknown.

Rodriguez, who first announced that she was expecting her 38th birthday in July, was last seen with her baby bump on January 25.

“This birthday is different,” she captioned a video of herself holding up a positive pregnancy test.

Gina’s announcement video began with a sweet photo of her and Joe making out in nature with their dogs, followed by a clip of them kissing and nuzzling each other’s heads outdoors with a snow-capped mountain in the distance.

Gina is best known for playing the lead role in the critically acclaimed CW series Jane The Virgin from 2014 to 2019.

It was in 2016 that the two met on set and in 2018 she revealed that they were engaged. The lovebirds got married in 2019.

Joe has tried a variety of trades, including acting and modeling, and has even worked as an MMA fighter.

In January 2016, Gina confessed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that her time starring in Jane The Virgin had given her baby a fever.

‘I’m sorry they bring the baby [playing her son] even me and my ovaries are like, “Ahhhh, come here baby!” she joked to the host.

At the time, she said she was considering adoption to avoid “the whole process” that comes with pregnancy.

Elsewhere in her chat, she joked about never having to work with crying babies because a new baby actor would be switched every time the one she was holding started crying.

She played the title character in Jane The Virgin, a woman who accidentally receives an incorrect procedure at her gynecologist’s office, where she is artificially inseminated.

Initially, she can’t believe she might be pregnant, as she is a virgin, and even after accepting the big life change, she still has to navigate her relationship with her longtime boyfriend and the biological father of her child.

The show was a critical hit, earning Gina a 2015 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical.
