In a 2021 interview, the father-of-two told The Daily Telegraph that he had lost weight during his time hosting The Amazing Race Australia and found it difficult to get back to his favorite look.

“I lost weight during the race and it’s slowly coming back, but I still look a bit too thin,” he said.

‘I like weights. “I’m losing weight quickly, which is torture when you’re a rugby league player trying to gain weight, so for me it’s all about gaining muscle mass,” he said.

Beau, who played rugby league for Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and Wests Tigers, said he has always struggled with maintaining muscle mass.
