Paul Scholes’ daughter Alicia Scholes showed off her scars in a bikini on Tuesday as she enjoyed a holiday to Portugal.
The 25-year-old daughter of the 51-year-old Manchester United ace and his ex-wife Claire Froggatt was admitted to Tameside General Hospital earlier this month, although she did not reveal the reason.
And despite keeping quiet about her illness, Alicia happily showed off the three scars around her stomach as she modeled a bikini on Instagram.
The netball player looked amazing in the two-piece thong suit, which she showed off in several sun-kissed photos.
Alicia captioned her photos, writing, “Took away my three brand new shiny scars.”

Alicia sizzled in another racy cut-out bikini, as she also posed for a mirror selfie in her nightwear.
It comes after she paid a heartfelt tribute to her loving father following his emotional podcast episode in November.
The former midfielder spoke candidly Stick to football about the challenges of raising his non-verbal autistic son, Aiden, Alicia’s younger brother.
Aiden was diagnosed with severe autism at the age of two-and-a-half and Scholes spoke of how difficult it was to get to grips with raising a neuro-diverse child while playing football at the highest level, also admitting he had great fear of what would happen to his son when he was no longer there to care for him.
The response, especially from parents in a similar situation, blew Scholes away and now his daughter has shared her own touching tribute.
Alicia is a hugely talented athlete in her own right and plays netball for England and London Pulse.
She wrote on Instagram: ‘God knows how hard that episode must have been!!!!! We love you so much.’
She continued, “I have never known anyone who hates talking about themselves more than you do, and I can only imagine how difficult it was to talk about Aidie and the reality of a very, very difficult situation. My whole life my priority has always been to be my father, and growing up I realized how hard you had to work every day is something I can’t even fathom.

Alicia made light of her apparent procedure and captioned her photos with the caption: ‘Took away my three brand new shiny scars’
“To achieve everything you have done requires so much sacrifice and somehow I still had you to take me to school every morning and there at the end of the day, so present in every aspect of my life!”
Alicia, who is dating Love Island Series 11 star Ayo Odukoya, shares photos of her glamorous life on Instagram with more than 100,000 followers, but also opened up about the challenges of having such a public profile given her father’s achievements.
Alicia continued, “I never knew that having your name would be the heaviest weight I would have to carry, but over time I am learning and I hope the pressure has made me stronger. They’re people I’ve never met who are writing all over Twitter about how much they hate me or how rude I am or how bad my attitude is. People who have never had a conversation with me, assuming I’ll be a certain way, so they hate me for reasons they’ve made up in their own heads.
“My mother was at games and heard fans saying to each other that I am only on teams because of my father, nothing to do with the work or dedication I put into it.
“I have received more attention than I should have in everything I do, I have been judged 10x harder and criticized 10x more, I always had to play above or beyond expectations to be recognized or praised because my standards are naturally so much higher, and every success or achievement was compared to a standard that was impossible to achieve.
“Growing up with eyes on you that you didn’t ask for has an impact and it’s not normal to live in a world where everyone’s view of you is based on things that have nothing to do with who you are or what you’ve done.
“No one teaches you to grow up with all these eyes and it took me so long to realize that. But when I look at you again, not only are you everything I want to be as an athlete, but your character and the way you carry yourself is admirable.”
