Fallout: New Vegas is free on the Epic Games Store this week

PC gamers with an Epic Games Store account (it’s free) can pick up now Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Editionthe 2011 re-release of the 2010 role-playing classic from Obsidian Entertainment. It’s available now through June 1.

Fallout: New Vegas – Ultimate Edition includes both the base game and all downloadable content, including four narrative expansions: Dead money, Honest hearts, Old world bluesAnd lonely road. New Vegas is widely regarded as one of the best games in the Fallout series, if not the best since Bethesda Softworks took over the franchise nearly 20 years ago.

The next game is a mystery game that will be unlocked at 6pm EDT according to Epic. The past two games have been these “mysterious” unlocks, and they turned out to be Death stranding and now New Vegasso chances are this next one could be a pretty big AAA title too.

The Epic Games Store freebies are available to anyone with an Epic Games Store account; they will be added to your library and launched from there. Epic gives away free games every week as an incentive to join the store (and play Epic’s own games, such as Fortnite), since its launch in December 2018.

Typically, Epic refreshes its free game lineup every Thursday at 11am ET/8am PT.
