Escape To The Chateau with Dick and Angel Strawbridge have shared a glimpse into their summer holidays with their children as the school holidays come to an end.
The couple, who recently returned from their… Channel 4 show, revealed where they were traveling Canada for a ‘wonderful’ family gathering.
The TV personalities took along their two children, Arthur, 13, and Dorothy, 11, and posted snaps of their trip to Instagram this week.
During the fun-filled trip across the Atlantic Ocean, they took part in various water activities, including rowing and boating on a lake.
While musing on the past few months, Angel said, “Pinch and a Punch of the Month!” And what a summer you will never forget!
‘Part two of our adventures took us to Canada for a wonderful family gathering in Strawbridge. There was lots of family time, lots of laughter and lots of memories made.

While musing on the past few months, Angel said, “Pinch and a Punch of the Month!” And what a summer you will never forget!
‘Since returning home we have enjoyed some lovely, quieter moments before the school year starts again.
‘For Arthur and Dorothy that’s TOMORROW! And one of Dorothy’s absolute highlights is packing her new school bag with all her beautiful, fresh stationery! She loves it! ✏️
‘So today is all about squeezing out the last drop of the summer holidays before the alarm goes off and the school bags are at the door!
‘To everyone going to school this week: we are thinking of you and sending lots of love for a wonderful new school year! Compulsory photo of the first day of school coming soon.’
The couple recently said they were ‘delighted’ with the return of their programme, which previously had nine series and will now return with ten.
The show followed the couple and their family as they renovated an abandoned French estate, which came to an end in 2022.
But the TV show will unexpectedly return to Britain later this year.

In a new interview with Country and Town House, Angel confirmed: ‘We’re returning to UK screens this year. What we do have is a Christmas special attached to it…
‘We finished filming and it felt rude not to. The series can therefore remain until later in the year, in line with the Christmas special.’
She added that the children will be “more involved” in the upcoming series.
Dick agreed, saying, “Every year we decide what we’re going to do, and for the past five or six years we’ve included the kids in that conversation.
‘Series 10 existed because there was such a big change within the family: Arthur is now a young man, Dorothy is a young woman. But those changes aren’t quite done yet, so we decided that Series 11 would follow Series 10, because there are more things we started in 10 that still need to be completed.
‘Next year we will decide what follows. What we always make sure is that we protect family time. We really have a number of years to enjoy the children the way we do now, and that is our first priority.”
They shared the reason for their return, saying: ‘Now we have entered a new era as a family. With Arthur and Dorothy happily off to college, Series 10 brings more change and growth than the Chateau has ever seen!
“We promised that when the time was right for our family, we would invite the cameras back to give you an update – and maybe even a Christmas special… and that time is now!”
“Thank you for being part of our story – we can’t wait to share this next magical chapter with you.”

Last year, Dic and his Angel remained defiant and insisted they had no regrets about leaving Channel 4 show.
Escape To The Chateau aired fifty episodes over nine seasons before ending in 2022 after being dramatically canceled due to behind-the-scenes failures.
The pair juggled renovating the castle in the northwest France raising two young children and running a wedding and event planning business.
Dick and Angel told them Devon Live that removing cameras from the family’s lives was “the right thing to do” so they could focus more on supporting their children and navigating high school.
Dick added: “In 2022 we had a big conversation where we said, “before they took on all the pressure of young people in their lives, it was time for us to walk away from the Escape.”
Angel added: “They’d had cameras here all year round, and it was just the right thing to do. What we are not against, we have not hidden from the media. They love it.’
They were dropped by Channel 4 four years ago after being embroiled in the bullying scandal.
In May 2023, it was revealed that Channel 4 had cut ties with them following an independent investigation into their conduct.
The TV channel confirmed they would no longer work with the pair on new productions ‘following a review’ after labeling them as ‘spiky and volatile’.
A leaked recording showed Angel calling a producer a ‘F***ed up little c**t’.
In June, she spoke out for the first time to defend herself against the foul-mouthed tirade when she explained she had fallen into a pre-set trap.
The TV star admitted that while she wishes the incident had not happened, she will not apologize for what she did.
In Elizabeth Day’s How To Fail podcast, Angel confessed at that moment that she saw red: ‘I was the one who was in the wrong for losing my temper, but you know what, I won’t apologize – he was so disrespectful in our house, he was so upsetting to me and my family, and I stand by what I did.
“If I were to apologize and say, ‘I’m sorry I used foul language and kicked you out,’ that would just be unfair to me.”
She added, “Would I like to erase that? Yes, I would like that. But I would also like to erase what he was doing because my anger just didn’t come out of nowhere.
