A Nivea spokesperson said: ‘Bringing Cheryl back for a second year felt like the natural evolution of our partnership.

“After her triumphant return last year, she perfectly embodies this campaign as someone who understands that transformative skincare is about embracing innovation, and in the words of Cheryl herself, life is about to get cold.”

In addition to her brand deal for the second year running, Cheryl will reportedly join the new series as a coach The Voice Britain.

The Girls out loud star and former X factor judge hasn’t been on primetime TV in six years, while her last TV outing featured her as a dance captain BBC‘s The Greatest Dancer in 2020.

However, she is now said to have been in talks with show bosses ‘for months’, with filming for the new series due to start in Manchester on September 11.

A source said The sun: ‘Every year, producers ask Cheryl to join the show, and it’s a polite ‘no’ as the timing has never been quite right.

‘It’s different this year. She feels ready to step back into the spotlight and talks are now in the final stages.”

The insider continued, “It could all go wrong, but with three weeks to go before filming begins, the production team is confident she will pull it off. It helps that old friend Will.i.am is on the panel next to her.’

The publication notes that negotiations have reached the stage where Cheryl’s hair and makeup budget for the show is being discussed.
