On Thursday, David and Victoria Beckham’s estranged son, 27, posted a photo to Instagram of a frosted glass of the Irish stout – but the post was met with anger from the drink’s cult following.
The art of pouring a Guinness is taken seriously among drinkers, with a specific two-part pouring method and experts recommending that it goes into a dry, room temperature imperial pint glass.
Comments on Brooklyn’s story were quickly flooded with outrage from followers, some of whom believed his story was deliberately “provoking anger.”

Thursday’s incident wasn’t the first time he has riled up bold devotees, after he caused outrage during an outing with then-girlfriend Chloe Moretz.
The actress shared a photo of Brooklyn behind a bar pouring Guinness, which was later shared on Twitter with a user who wrote: “Look how smug Brooklyn Beckham is with himself for pouring this terrible pint of Guinness.”
The comments about his drinking come just a day after Brooklyn defended his wife Nicola Peltz, warning ‘don’t ever talk about my wife’ about her weight in an online row.
